"Laptop Protection"
This is a very nice bag for small laptops but wish it had a compartment for acessories

when I get the bag,I think it is a very good notebook case,good quality,nice looking and good price,but it is very tight for the widescreen 13.3" macbook,I even think it is not the right one for the notebook.Finally,I put my poor macbook in it,oh!it is not so bad.

"It's an ok case if you only want a sleeve"
This case is good if you are looking for a heavy duty protection sleeve for your macbook. The issue that I found with it is that it is too large to put into a full laptop case, so unless you're putting it in a catalog case or a large case of that nature it is not good for traveling. I used this case for a while to carry my macbook between home and work where I had a power adapter at each location and it was fine. Aside from that it was not very useful. If you want to carry your power adapter with it you have to order a side pouch from Brenthaven directly and pay just as much in shipping for the pouch as you do for the case. The pockets on the case are only good enough to carry a few papers in, not even a pad of paper. Personally I find the ProLite I to be a much more useful case.

"You can "drop it like it's hot""
When the Edge 1 Sleeve bag from Brenthaven arrived in the mail, I immediately looked at the interior padding (after all, my new laptop deserves the best.) The bag looks trendy and really has cushion for the pushin'.

All six sides are comfortably padded and while I didn't put my laptop through a true stress test, I have no doubt that aside from dropping your laptop on a pile of pillows, dropping it in this case would be the next best option.

The only downside I have is that it's basically just a case. There is one internal pocket and a sleeve for some paperwork, but the extra space is minimal.

The handle is comfortable, and the shoulder strap works fine although I wish it were wider for comfort. If you're looking for protection for your laptop, I would highly suggest a Brenthaven product.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Strap has problems", I love the case, I bought the adapter holder as well. The annoying thing is that the strap has swivels on it that squeak when you walk. Sometimes I just hold on to the swivel to shut it up. Then I noticed that the strap hooks were digging into the nylon cover of the case. Then the hook, itself popped open and would not go back into a closed position. When you see it, you'll understand what can happen. There is not enough overlap in the hook. Its still a good case. I've had the case 8 months and use it all the time. I have to use the handle now though...

"A Bag suited for Macbook", I dont carry my Macbook as often as others, but I find this bag pretty good and fitted my 13" Macbook. It is very handy and handliy secures your Mac because of the thick paddings. The bag is secured by nice belts and it comes with shoulder paddings too. You can easily carry it too by the hand or by your shoulder.

I wish this have more space on the side pockets to accomodate the battery charger and adapters.

"Great protection! Great fit...but...", This is a great case! I almost got a neopreen sleeve but I wanted more protection if I dropped it or the backpack it might be in. My wife uses it and drops things more than I.... If the neopreen was twice as thick, I'd get it. This case is sleek enough to be called a sleeve, but it really is a case. The great part is that without the strap, and pushing the handle in its streamline position, it is slim enough to be a sleeve. It has a hard case feel with lots of cushion inside. The tough nylon is very rugged. I didn't want to have to baby my Mac in transit. I like it better than a sleeve because I can carry it alone and know it is protected. I give it a four because of design. The side pocket barely fits the power adapter. I don't want the adapter to compress the Mac and risk the unknown like the keys marking the screen (happened on a PC notebook). Nor can I charge the Mac inside the case which isn't as big a deal as the space for a charger. A neopreen pocket would have the elasticity to accomodate the adapter's bulk.

"Fits like a glove", I have the 12 inch iBook and wanted a slimmer fitted case that would keep it well protected. This case was exactly what I hoped it would be. I did also purchase the external pouch for the AC adapter as the case does not have room inside for that. Very satisfied with the sleek profile and protective padding.
