"It works", Just as you'd expect to it, plug things in and you're connected.

It will be $15/unit if I get the rebate back (hopefully I do). I seriously question the power savings. The 44% is if you turn the computers off. Well that's like saying 'These lights are 50% more efficient over other lights' then in fine print it says 'If you only run 6 hours/day vs. 12.

The units real power savings is going to be in the 20%, which are gains made but actually using less power 5v vs 7v of power. I've been told it draws power from your computers so maybe there are no net gains.

However, for $15/unit I picked up two for our home network. They work well. After 3-4 days in use, no problems.

I'll report back if I never get the rebate.

"Works great", Have this little guy hooked to my airport extreme and runs like a champ. No problems yet. Needed a few more ethernet ports. Recommended.

"Great product", I bought it to expand my gigabit network at home. It was easy to install and works with all my network devices (Mac/PC with vista/xbox). I have had it for 3 months and have had no problems.

"Works great but over priced compared to other hubs", Prices for other hubs are better at Best Buy. The quality and operation are flawless and I have no complaints about the product.

"Did not receive rebate", You know the multitude of requirements which make actually getting the rebate shouted about in the large print so improbable. Watch out.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Product 5/ Support Docs 1", I love the product. It was easy to install - however - I wanted to further network so I popped the DVD in the computer to learn more about the product. It was blank! I then called the company and informed them that I received a blank DVD and they told me that all the DVD's were sent out blank!!! What??? So, if you know how to network and don't need further information -- then I would highly suggest this product. If you need technical support -- use another product!

"You get what you pay for", This switch is OK, but it does drop packets under load. I still use it to support a PC and a network printer, but not as my secondary hub with all 5 ports needed. In the more demanding role, it dropped packets when I did throughput tests. Every 3rd or 4th test would fail with a time-out. Replaced it with a Netgear 8 port GE managed switch and no more time-outs. Note that I am using a 16 port GE Netgear switch as my main hub. So not horrible for UDP applications. But not one I'd buy again, either.

"Works as intended, no issues", Well never had to think about it after I plugged it in, that's the way a switch should be, working flawlessly.

"D-Link DGS-2205 Gigabite Switch Review", Excellent product. Works well with no configuration. Plug and play with autosensing ports. Recommended for anyone with a need for a small gigabite switch.

"Works fine, LED colors hard to read", Works just fine, both the unit and the power brick are small, doesn't seem to get too hot. I've got both 100 and 1000 connections to the switch and the color of the light indicates the link speed. It's a little hard for me to tell the difference between colors. Perhaps make the LEDs a little larger.
