"Works like it should - no problems!"
It looks good, charges an iPod, and I haven't noticed any whining/interference as other people have.

If I had to change something it would be the cord coming out at a right angle to the DC plug, so it isn't so long, because before I modified it it wouldn't fit in the console of my car. But that shouldn't be a problem for most people.

I purchased this to use in conjunction with a Sony Cassette Adapter for MP3, MiniDisc, and Discman Players. (I could also have used it with my iRiver wireless transmitter if I hadn't just thrown it out in frustration.) It plugs in, it works, it's a beautiful thing. The extra USB cable is nice but not vital.

It's inexpensive and it works. What more could I ask for?

I bought this and another company's DC charger from the Apple store. This one works great. I gave the other one away and bought a second one of these. Compact, easy to plug in and use with my iPhone. I highly recommend this one.

"Does the Job and Cheap (Good/Bad)"
I was looking for a simple iPod charger for the car, already having a 3.5mm stereo input jack on my stereo, and this does the job well. I like that the cigarette lighter adapter part of the charger is not hardwired; it has a female USB socket, into which you can plug the supplied male USB to iPod plug or male USB to male mini-USB cable (great for my fiancee's phone). This means that if I lose the Griffin cable, I can still use the standard white USB iPod cable for charging.

The reason I take off a star is because I dropped the cigarette lighter adapter part on the ground while walking on the sidewalk, and the shell came apart and several metal pieces went flying. It's commendable that even if it "breaks" like this, no plastic was actually harmed and it can be re-assembled fairly easily. I'm still missing one of the non-essential metal pieces, however, and thinking that the only thing holding the part together is the close fit of the cigarette lighter worries me a little.

All in all, it's an inexpensive and versatile product and if it weren't for my clumsiness it would have no visible faults.

"Affordable and Versatile", I bought this product to charge my iPhone in my car. Been using it for less than a month and so far it seems to do what I need it to do. It can also charge my iPod Classic with the same connector, but frankly the battery in my iPod lasts about 10 times longer than the one in my iPhone. This is a must for anyone who uses their iPhone a lot, including in their car: While you're driving, have your iPhone plugged in so that when you get out of your car, it's got a little more juice than when you got in (or a lot, depending on how far you travel).

"Look at the picture. Its not what you get.", The picture shows 2 cords. You only get one. The reason you need 2 is because the ipod charger and the itrip fm trnasmiter charger are different. If you are listening on fm radio and you need a charge you will have to stop listening. buy the Griffin 9769 it has 2 cords.

"good with itrip", Worked fine on a trip to southern cal, good idea to make it compatible with the mini USB for the itrip.

"Works Great", This charger works great with my 1st gen Nano. I listen to Audio books. I hear no high pitched hiss or any other extra sounds when the charger is plugged in.

"IPOD CAR CHARGER", WHILE THE CHARGER ITSELF WORKS THE ITEM I PREVIOUSLY PURCHASED THAT THE CHARGER WENT TO, DOES NOT AT ALL WORK AS EXPECTED.

"Do not use for Verizon Razor", This charger is great for your iPod. I got it because my coworker had it work for his blackberry and ipod. When I got mine I tried it for my Motorola Razor which has the same plug. I have since found out that it does not work for Verizon's Razor.. Cingular, Yes.. It is weird, but something about the different networks and power consumption. I just mark it another of a long list or reason not to use Verizon.

"It charges", I bought the PowerJolt to charge both my iTrip (Nano 2g version) and my Razr. Unfortunately, it will not charge the Razr even though it too has a mini usb.

The 2 star rating is due to a high pitched buzz that plays along with my music whenever it is plugged in. It's almost unnoticeable, but once you do notice it, it is impossible to not hear.
