"7 year old loves this game" my son loves to play ncaa football and he actually has learned about the real game of football by doing so. sometimes, he likes to play as the mascots of the team for more fun and interest.
"The challenge never ends" There is no end to how much time and fun you can have with this game. It is easy to get started and yet can be adjusted to meet your ever growing expertise. Lots of game options and almost an endless number of teams and ways to play. It's hard to stop playing to do the things you should be doing.
"NCAA FB 07" This game is a lot of fun, would recomend it to others.
"ncaa 07 college football" Very good throughly enjoy it. Im stationed in okinawa japan, and the game got here very fast, greatly appreciated.
"Hopelessly Addicted" To be honest, I had zero interest in NCAA Football 2007 when it was released a little while ago. I go to a Division 1-AA school (Northeastern) with a sinking football program so we just don't get that fired up about college football here. However, a buddy of mine from another school did pick it up and immediately started raving about it, describing all the unique features and improved gameplay over Madden. Eventually I gave in and bought the game, and became immediately hooked.
I've never been a huge fan of the Franchise Mode in any sports games. I enjoy playing single season campaigns, but the feeble attempts at simulating life after the season is over for a coach or owner were just annoying and seemed like a waste of time. For some reason, I can't get enough of the Dynasty mode for NCAA Football 2007. For one thing, the playstation 2 version of the game is extensive enough that even my pathetic Northeastern found its way into the game. I immediately chose them as my dynasty team, and exported them out of their crappy AA conference and into the Big East. Even though we suck in real life, there's something satisfying about turning around a terrible program with heavy recruiting and overachieving on the field.
I am just starting my fifth season as the head coach at Northeastern and I couldn't be more satisfied with my job. We are coming off of three straight Big East title championships, two orange bowl victories, and last year culminated with the National Championship. NU was invited to join the ACC Conference so this coming season we will be playing with the big boys. By choosing to focus more percentage points on recruiting, we have managed to land a top-notch draft class. Parsons Field in Brookline, Massachussetts is routinely filled to the brim (about 10,000 people max), and I have received offers to coach at esteemed football programs such as Florida, USC, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia Tech.
It's details like these that make the dynasty mode of NCAA Football 07 incredibly addictive. I daydream in class about how I can shut down Ohio State's pass heavy offense (my free safeties are slightly weak this year, we're working on it). My defense is annually the weak link so I spend every second of every defensive play audibling linebackers all over the place, shifting linemen, switching from zone to man, trying anything to shut down the other team's momentum. I get upset when my star players don't show up to study hall and I have to bench them for a game. The offseason is done particularly well, moving things along at a fast pace, but giving you plenty of time to develop recruits and plan your strategy.
I don't need to mention the slick presentation, but I will anyway. The gameplay is very smooth, and except for a few small glitches I encountered (one glitch had me in a permanent huddle with my offense)and the commentating that eventually gets repetitive when you've played through four full seasons (Lee Corso is really starting to get on my nerves, but I forgive him every time he puts on an NU helmet before each game to predict the winner), I never get tired of bouncing a good run to the outside for twelve yards, or going deep down the sideline and watching the receiver make a sick, slow motion, over-the-shoulder grab. At some point, I should consider doing more homework and studying more for exams, but right now, I'm content to prepare for Northeastern University's home opener against #1 Florida. Gotta put on a good show, the potential recruits will be there.

What our customer's say!
"Fun football game", Excellent game. I have this game myself and my recent purchase was for a friend. Highly recommended.
"A touchdown from EA", I picked this game up, after having several NCAA games before and I have to say, what EA did with this one is fantastic! They have made it more tough than previous ones, and the new features they have added are great. Graphic wise, it could not be better. Seeing as right now, there are two newer versions out there, I would say, for the price you can pick this one up for, do it, it is well worth it.
"Good game but not without its flaws", When I began playing this game I had a hard time winning on the All-American difficulty setting, but after a season of taking some lumps I went on to win two consecutive National Championships. I really enjoyed both the in and off season player recruiting, as I got better and more savvy I was able to attract more top players. My 3rd and last season playing at All-American I was really destroying the opposition by 30-40 point margins, culminating with a blow out win in the National Championship. As I had done previously with Madden I felt it was time to "move up" in difficulty level, I had a period of adjustment with Madden but eventually learned how to sustain a drive and exploit weaknesses in the AI and consistently won. On the other hand, when playing a top team in the Heisman mode of NCAA the game is virtually impossible to beat. After three seasons of solid recruits my team rates an A+ on both offense and defense. While to defense holds up decently in Heisman mode the offense is impossible. My o-line with every lineman 90+ overall can't stop a three man rush...I usually have 2-3 seconds (when I'm lucky) to throw the ball to receivers who can't get open and who have linebackers out running them. If I do manage to get the ball to them as soon as they make the catch somebody crushes them and the ball comes loose. The passing game is frustrating and it's impossible to get into any kind of rhythm against a top team. The running game is even worse, unless you run in a non-running situation, like 3rd and 7 out of a shotgun formation, the computer D blows up the run out of the I-formation or goal line sets every time on first and second down. In essence, game play against the top teams in Heisman mode becomes so impossible so as to make the game a boring, frustrating defensive struggle and a battle of field goals. I no longer have fun playing the game but do not want to go back to playing All-American due to the relative ease. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted...the game gave me two competitive seasons, one season that was too easy, and one season of the most unfair and unbalanced AI I have ever seen in a video football game. EA should make an effort to make the Heisman mode more balanced. NCAA football was an interesting foray but I believe better and more fair (relatively speaking) game play is to be had on the All-Madden mode of the Madden 2007.
"My Review Of NCAA Football 2007", The 2007 edition of the EA video game franchise has new features, like Campus Legend, where your player decides whether he goes the to the NFL or stay as a college coach, and Spring Drills, where your favorite team square off in a Spring-time scrimmage. Above all else, there are still the same game modes from the previous NCAA Football games like Rivalry Game, Mascot Game, Dynasty and a selection of Div.1-Football Championship Subdivision teams. This is the great video game to pass the time and can be used with only the Madden 2007 game.
"Fumble, fumble, fumble", I bought this, played it for about a month, and then got insanely sick of it. I just love how when your team does well all season, travels to an important away game, and then decides to fumble every single time it gets the ball. I'm not kidding. I play at USC, and my team literally fumbles 9 times! How realistic is that? This happened at least once every single season. Does EA really think that this is how college football works? I could understand if the other team's defense plays harder, or if you throw the occasional interception, but fumbled handoffs, kickoff returns, punt returns, wide receiver plays, all in one game! Come on!
