"Horrific Violence"
I hate the fact that colored people hurt and kill other innocent colored people for absolutely no reason at all. This show has to be the most disgusting, offensive and mean-spirited trash I have ever watched in my life. I'm not being cross or anything, I just hate to see other people get mauled just for fun. It's so horrible, I don't know how to explain it. The cursing and blood in this "garbage" people call a show is so graphic, it's disgusting.

Overall, this show is an insult to the life of a TV viewer. I feel it is such a disgrace, that I honestly wish Cartoon Network would take it off of the air. If you want to see a funny show about colored people, see "Family Matters."


"Powerful"
This is one of the Greatest shows on Television. It is a comical look at the culture of both white and black people. From the beginning it shows the ignorance on both sides of the spectrum and point out the faults in today's society while still being funny.

However, there are those who think they see through the show to nothing more than a shallow interior and to those people I say get a grip. This show is well written and brilliantly original. The Characters are much deeper than made out to be, however you all have gotten it into your ignorant skulls that they are nothing more than trash talking fools. You cannot see how each character has been specifically molded based on their backgrounds and their environment. So get a grip if you don't like this show than you cannot watch south park either cause it is just as offensive.

Despite the few ones this DVD is NOT ignorant dribble from an angry minority, but a close, careful, and comical look at the faults with black culture as well as a broader look at the faults with the greater society.

"Life lessons for all who view"
"I am the stone that the building refused"....is how the series begins and as you watch you will understand this and the opinions and insights of Huey's monologues.

"Brilliant"
Sharp, witty and insightful humour bound up brilliantly in a convenient little package. Stand episodes are:
*ep 5 'A date with the health inspector' (where Samuel L Jackson reprises his classic role of Jules Winnfield from 'Pulp Fiction' in the form of a white man-Gin Rummy with hilarious dialogue
*ep 6 the story of ganstalicious- when we hear the word 'resurrection' i wonder which rapper we immediately think of. And the court scene where they play the song 'play it for the jury' sounds familiar to a certain rapper.
*the r kelly and garden party really lay the foundation for a brilliant comedy series though.
*Cant wait till i get season 2 on dvd. however, if all 15 eps are not in it-i will be ordering a refund beacause those eps are funny as hell (they lampoon BET).
*the gratuitous use of the n-word is brilliant especially from Riley

"That's entertainment"
This is one of the Best pieces of entertainment on t.v. period. I love this show it is so so very funny. I love it and everyone involved with bringing it into people's homes and to DVD should be applauded. Thank you very much Mr. McGruder and friends. Matter of fact I am going to purchase a back up copy because it's that necessary. Peace.
