Others say...
"perfect for toddlers" I bought the Fisher Price Amazing Animals Sing and Go Choo Choo for my 15 month old grandson. He loves it. The animals are big enough for him to easily put into the cars. He loves to push the buttons and hear the songs. It is very sturdy and can stand up to an active toddler. It also holds his attention for long periods of time, which is much better than some of the other toys I've purchased for him. All in all, a wonderful gift.
"Fisher Price Animal Train " My daughter has played with this train since she was 6 months old (she is 15 months now) and loves it. The animals are cute and songs are fun. Plus it moves on our carpet without a problem. One of the better toys for this age group, in my opinion.
"Not that great.." In store, it looked neat & I was happy when my inlaws bought it for our son last Christmas when he was a newborn, but I figured by 6 months he'd be ready to enjoy it. I was wrong, as he's now a year old & still doesn't really care for it. The songs are catchy, it runs on carpet, but that's about it. The animals that come with it aren't really much of anything & have very little movememnt with them, my son actually isn't a fan of the clicking noise they make. He's enjoyed putting others things in the train, but that's about it. Doesn't seem to care about the music or the movement, even when we've showed him. Overall, it's one of those dreadful in the way toys that always end up under your feet. After Christmas, I look foward to finally being able to pack the train away just to have it out of the way.
"Would buy another one !!" I bought the "sing and Go Choo Choo" for my grandson (18 months). He absolutely loved it !! He could remove the animals from the train and place them wherever he wanted. This toy kept him busy for at least 20 minutes !! And the song is great and entertaining.
"A super Fun cho cho" We got this cho cho train for our little girl on her 1 yr b'day. She loves it. She is 18 months now, and still play with the train & the animal a lot, now she can name all 3 of them.

What our customer's say!
"Nice fun - but goes better for the 18 months timeframe", Got this for my son when he was 6 months. Now that he is 18 months (a yr since I bought it), he enjoys the toy more. Tries to imitate the sounds of the animals he hears. Also likes to see the train move around with the song.
Engages him for some time...
"Loud, obnoxious, gaudy. ", We received this for our 15 month old baby as a Christmas gift, after asking to NOT get battery-operated, noise-making toys. This toy is both of those things, to the extreme.
It is LOUD, even when it's supposed to be on low. The songs are really bad and the singer's voice is the same obnoxious, over-done, annoying (and creepy) female/child hybrid voice that's used on nearly every Fisher-Price toy.
Like all toys of this type, there is nothing left to a child's imagination, and there is no real educational value. The "educational" features are all just things to dupe parents and especially grandparents into buying it----because, as Fisher Price knows, most parents and especially grandparents seem to think that the toy with the most "bells & whistles" is actually the best toy to buy.
Despite the button that makes several recorded fake animal sounds when you push it, I can't fathom how this thing would actually teach a baby animal sounds. Why not buy kids more realistic play animals with no sounds or even a book with pictures of animals, and teach them yourself what each animal says? Save the [...] (+ the money for the 3 "C" batteries) and use it instead for (just one of many examples) a simple wooden pull/push train that runs on human propulsion and imagination.
Noisier/gaudier/battery-operated does not equal better, and this toy is one of the finest examples I've seen to illustrate that point.
"Great fun!", I purchased this toy for my eight month old grandson. He squealed with delight when I pushed the engine's "smokestack". He tried to grab the animals out of the box before I was able to disconnect them. Such fun to watch!
"Fisher Price, always a good choice!", This whimsical toy "lives" on the floor of Annabelle Rose's bedroom, right near her crib and changing table, always in sight. She is one year old now, VERY GROWN UP! The sweet music, gentle movement, smiling animals and bright colors are so familiar to her that she chooses one animal to take a nap with each day. Annabelle Rose has taken such pleasure in the Fisher Price Amazing Animals Sing and Go Choo Choo, that I have purchased this reliable and ever-working toy for a baby shower and then another for Taryn Charlize, my other one year old granddaughter. A wonderful toy ... and a reasonable price for lasting quality.
"A lot of fun", My 7 month old son LOVES this toy. He was immediately attracted to it and chooses to play with the giraffe or train engine over his other toys. My only regret is that we got it in the store... we could have used the "frustration free" packaging because it was a MAJOR pain to get out of the box.

"Awesome fun toy", My 11 mos old Grandson loves the animals and loves the song the train sings. This toy keeps him entertained for hours.
"Useless and annoying", We got this toy as a present for our daughter's 6-months birthday. She is turning 1 year now and still is not interested in this train. The music is too loud even on the low setting and the songs are just annoying. The animals are very heavy and hard to manipulate. Most of the animals don't have much range of motion (except the giraffe). I personally have hard time finding educational value for this toy - just a bright plastic noise-maker. I have never seen my daughter pick it for play from her toy collection.
"Cute but noisy", Haven't used it yet but it looks cute. I like the music but the it is a bit noisy.
"I don't know why... but my daughter loves this!!! ", A friend gave this to us as a hand me down toy and my 12mo old daughter absolutely loves it!!! She bounces up and down to the music, pushes the button, and follows the train around. I wouldn't have paid $35.00 for it but, overall it's a great toy.
"Still going after 2 years!!! Very durable!!!! Super cute too!!!", My daughter received this toy for Christmas when she just over 1yr old and loved chasing it around Christmas morning. She has continued to play with it over the last 2 years and loves it!!! She now likes to put her babies/barbies in it and pretend they are going on a trip. She has thrown it, hit it, stood in it and just about anything a kid can do to abuse a toy and it still looks brand new! Now my 6 month old son giggles his head off when she drives it past him back and forth, he also loves to hold the animals and tries to suck on them. This toy is well worth $30 and even the $40 we paid for it when it first came out! I am willing to bet this toy will be popular in my house for at least the next 3yrs as my son starts to enjoy it more and more! This toy is also very good on batteries, I don't think I have changed the batteries in it more 3-4 times.
