"Additional DVDs?", I bought this DVD game over a year ago. It's a lot of fun, but as one reviewer commented, only 15 games to the one DVD IS expensive. Of course, if you wait a year or more to play it again, you've forgotten the categories, which we've done, but not many folks would be happy to have to do that - me, included. Any chance there'll be additional/new $100k Pyramid DVDs out there to buy in the near future?

"don't waste your money", We have the original Pyramid board game and love to play so we thought the new electronic version would be fun. It's a complete disappointment. The DVD is so slow in responding when you want to advance to the next word that it takes 2-3 seconds per clue. The clock keeps running so it's almost impossible to just get through the first round. Then the bonus round is really impossible. The game is sluggish and unresponsive. It really was a waste of money.

"This game...THINGS THAT SUCK!", While the animation is cool, there's not much else going for it...w/only 15 games, it's not long before you have to start repeating, which affects the playability. Also, some of the words/phrases are more complicated than what you'd see on TV (Extreme Frisbee?) and the clue-giver can waste a good deal of time on them. Finally, the Winner's Circle scoring system isn't anything like the TV show, so I wouldn't recommend it unless you can deal w/all these shortcomings...for a decent Pyramid home game, pick up the box game of the recent Donny Osmond version, which is much cheaper and far more playable.

"100,000 Pyramid game", Great fun for the family or a group setting. We've had hours of fun.

"doesn't work", Our dvd starts, and explains all of the rules, lets you choose a game and see the categories, but does not let you choose a category. Once we press enter to begin, it goes straight to the very first start up screen.

"A Classic Reborn", I've played this game several times with my friends and family... It's a hit every time. The scoring is kept on the TV and while it takes a turn to get used it, but after that it's pretty easy to do. Basically, when someone gets a question right, you hit the up arrow. It's very cool.

While the show set doesn't look like the original orange shag carpet 70s set, the one in this game is kinda cool and modern. There's no host, which is nice because my family usually makes fun of hosts in game shows anyway. This version seems to be "cool enough" for everyone.

Basically, if you're looking for an exact copy of the original show, this isn't for you. If you're looking for a fun, family-friendly game with modern music and graphics, this will do the trick. We even played it in the back of a car during a road trip. At $20, it's a good value.
