"Super fun", I am pretty suprised this is rates so low. The DVD is very similiar to the game. The only downside is that you have to scoll though the cases and can't see all the cases at one time to know which ones you have already picked. Not a big deal though. The game is very much like the real game, and you can play with two players. I play this with my boyfriend all the time.

"Great idea---just incredibly slow", Not much more to offer here other than to chime in with everyone else. Beware this game is VERY slow. Scrolling through the cases for the one you want to select is a true beating. My wife and I play this with our 6 and 7 year olds, and it gets to the point where we just pick the "next" case as we cannot stand to wait how long it takes to navigate among the cases. If it were fast (or even "not slow") it would be very entertaining.

"Worst DVD Game Ever!!!!!", Dont believe any of the comments saying that this game is good. It has a ton of bugs and I have never been able to finish an entire game. This game SUCKS!!!! Its terrible dont ever buy it.

"Deal or no Deal DVD game", I bought this game for my dad for Christmas, he loves this show. We played it over the holiday and had a blast. The only bad thing is it's a little on the slow side. But we still had fun. Great family fun for slower non-gaming people!

"DVD Deal or No Deal", I want more. This realy brought my family back to the family room. Everyone played and still does. We had a party on Christmas. Event he guests play the game. We had great fun. I recommend this game to anyone. I'm looking for more games along the same idea.

"Freeze or No Freeze", We actually enjoy the game when it is not freezing up in the middle of our game. Scrolling through the cases can also be tedious at times. The game was probably rushed quickly to sell at stores, and gliches not worked out. The game is fun, it just can be a pain sometimes.

"Deal or No Deal DVD game", This game is terrible. It freezes, it glitches, and it gives DVD games a bad name. It has no sense of flow of the tv game. It is nice to see the models, though, but it is the same shot over and over. Not a good game.

"Not worth it", I bought this for my boyfriend as a present. We both love the TV show and thought the game would be as exciting (without the live crowd, of course). But the game moves slow, no models - only picking case numbers. You can compete against one another, but its not really exciting. You even have to cycle through all of the numbers to pick which one you want. Very tedious.

Maybe you should try the board game version - it can't be any worse.

"Not the Real Deal...", This version of the "Deal or No Deal" television game moves very slowly. On the real show (as well as their online version) you can see ALL of the remaining cases from which to choose...this DVD version only shows 4 cases at a time and you must scroll through 7 screens to view them all. This makes for a LOOOOOONNNNNNG game.
They do use the real "Howie" (no cartoons) however, there is only a view of a girl's hands opening each case and it's obviously the same girl.
Howie's comments are basically the same so, they become very repetitive after you've played the game once or twice.
In trying to make the DVD approximate the "real" experience...they have only succeeded in making it very tedious. You end up wanting to MOVE ON to the results.
The improvement over the real game is that you can have more than one player...each alternating choices - trying to end up with a better outcome.

"Good God, Save Your Money! ! ! !", This game is one hot mess. I bought it for my Mom for Christmas. We decided to play the 2 player game thinking it would be fun. Well, the word my Mother used to describe it is "EXCRUCIATING". This was the slowest and most boring thing I've ever played. There is at least a 10 second pause between EACH function (choosing a case, opening the case, Howie giving you directions, taking turns, looking at your opened case. . .you name it). Each time you switch back to the other player, THE SCREEN LITERALLY GOES BLACK! You only see the suitcase girls in the beginning and the end. When a case is opened, you only see two arms, breasts and the case! When it is your turn to pick a case, there is COMPLETE SILENCE as you scroll - and I use the term loosely - up and down to pick a number. For a "video game" which you assume to move quickly, you'd better set aside at lease an hour to play it. You will be exhausted when you're through. We suggest they go back to the drawing board and stop with all the pauses, play some theme music when you are choosing your case, show the girl who opens your case, have the audience clap - ANYTHING!!!!!!!! If you buy this game, you only have yourself to blame. P.S. I won $750,000 and didn't even care, I was just glad it was over.
