"Another Great Racing Game", My five year old son is a racing enthusiast. He absolutely loves this game. They've included portions of the movie inside it as well. Great buy!

"Well done game", Cars presents the player with several options. You can advance through the multiple races, tracing a movie plot that ultimately pits Lightning McQueen against the vile Chick. Alternatively, you can just drive around, complete some mini-games, and generally explore various fun environments.

The driving mechanics, at least in the exploration mode of play, are simple and easy, even for 4-5 year old kids. There is relatively little violence or suspense to scare them, and no damage from crashes, however spectacular they may seem.

The racing will be challenging for beginning gamers, and the road races especially are boring and repetitive (the off-road and back country races are more engaging, though). I wish there were more female characters, but on balance the game is quite nice.

"A little hard", My son had a somewhat hard time with the racing portions of the game. He got bored with it.

"my 7 year old loves it", my son only plays this game since we got it. this is his favorite game now. he loves it.

"Help!", This game is a lot of fun, though rather short. It was very easy for me to beat, but I have a problem. Now, since I've beaten it, I'd like to play 2-player, but here's the problem: the 2-player button is dark and when I press X it gives me the sound of a car engine trying to start, but failing. I played 2-player when I first got it, so I know it works. Has this happened to anybody? Is it possible that it got scratched and now that part won't work? Do I have to set something for it to work? Thanks!

"not for your kids", My sons love to play this game because of "Cars". My sons are 5 and 4. But I have to admit that they can't really control the car they are playing. Anyway they still enjoy playing it.

"A good movie based game", This game is very fun but it is very easy.I beat it within 2-3 hours.My four year old sister can beat it and she doesn't even play it very often.But other than that it is good.There are three parts of Radiator springs that you have to unlock.There a more then 8 different characters and they added an extra monster truck in.There are lots of paint jobs for the cars too.there are both piston cup races,road races and bonus activities.There is also extra stuff like art work,videos,and a thing were you can buy cars and paint jobs.Overall the graphics are good ,the sound effects are great. Overall its an awesome game, but its too easy.

"as fun as it could be!", This is a great game for kids! Mine cannot get enough of it. There are plenty of games in it, you can play with another friend simultaneously, play arcade or story mode for a lot of fun.
All the characters from the movie appears on this game, and you can race them all in many different tracks. Also there is the story mode, where you can play many mini games and sort a whole variety of obstacles to win points, and practice to enter the piston league to become a champion. With the points you get you can buy other characters from the movie and new very wild ones to enhance the gaming experience.
One thing though is that the first one I got did not work properly, but I notified Amazon and it was replace swiftly at no cost.
I recomend this product to family with kids of ages between 4 and 12.


"Cars for PS2", My son is 7 and he absolutly loves playing this game. My husband enjoys playing it with him also.

"Good Fun", This is a good product if your looking for something to get an older child ages 10+ who are beginning that stage of "not wanting to play with toys". My child loves this game and he enjoyed the movie, too.
