"Did not fit. "
Did not fit my Compaq laptop. Was disappointed, but it fits a Dell laptop tough. The only thing is they dip the cable in a chemical to prevent rusting and does it smell bad!

For the price you pay it's not to bad. With the way it is made it takes a little time to get in, but after that it fits. It might work better with different types of laptops, but it's a really tight fit for my Acer Aspire, but with some gentle coaxing it fit.

"Quality=Price"
Very poor quality, I wouldn't count on it to protect your computer. It didn't fit my HP notebook and then broke in my hands within ten minutes of opening. May be a waste of your five bucks (plus shipping).

THE ITEM WAS SHIPPED ON THE SAME DAY AND I WAS GLAD THAT I GOT IT THE 2ND DAY. BUT , THE PRODUCT IS NOT OF GOOD QUALITY , IT BROKE IN LESS THAN A WEEK.


"Do not get this if you have a Mac"
I ordered this lock online, under the premise that it would fit my ibook G4, and it didn't. It seemed to work on my friend's PC laptop. Also the construction is no as good as other lock brands, but it looks like it will do the job.

"this item does not work, frankly fraudulent", this laptop lock is so poorly made, it cannot be used. it did not fit into 2 laptops that i tried it on, and actually produced a metal splinter in my friend's thumb. this should not be sold on amazon. completely terrible.

"Solid security for the lowest price", I bought several of these to secure a laptop, LCD projector and VCR to an AV cart. Well made, quality material, works great for what I needed. For high theft areas you may need a heavier cable, but for ordinary security this is perfect.

"3 computer security locks", they are great, cheap and work really well! the only problem with them is that they SMELL TERRIBLE

"Extremely poor quality", This lock is of "VERY POOR" quality. I bought it for my Dell Inspiron. It fits easily into the slot, but I was able to pull it out with a short tug. It will give absolutely "NO" protection to your laptop. It has an extremely flimsy mechanism. There was a $6 shipping fee. You might as well take $12 and throw it in the garbage. I wasted my money, don't waste yours.
