"Korg Tuner", I found myself in need of a reliable & reasonably priced chromatic tuner. This one fits the bill. It is super simple and right on the mark. The screen is large enough to view and it works great. I do wish it had backlighting but for the price, it gets the job done quickly and efficiently. Recommended for people who like to keep all their strings in tune.

"Very Happy", I needed a low priced tuner for my violin so I purchased this Korg. It works great, is easy to use, and with it's small size fits into a pocket in my case. I have not had any problems with it at all. Buy it.

"Very good, but...", I'm dealing with getting old but I was surprised to find that I could no longer tune my guitar by ear. In fact, I was thinking the problem was with my old guitars.
I decided to get a tuner. I did some research here on amazon and decided on this one.
Reasonable price and the instrument store shipped in good time.
The first time I used it I wished I had bought it sooner.
Easy to use with either the lights or the needle. The guitars sounded great.
As others have said:
It's a little difficult to use the needle in a dark setting but the red/green lights are accurate.
A simple flip out stand would be a big help. Plugging in a cord jack makes it very awkward to position. That being said the idea of putting a groove on the back of the thing so you can insert a credit, business or playing card to lean it against is both odd and better than nothing.
Will have to see how long it holds up but I am very happy with it and I will use the instrument store again.



"Easy to bring along, and easy to use", I'm not an experienced musician so as I once again attempted to learn guitar I once again became frustated with trying to tune it. I finally found this chromatic tuner on Amazon and with such a low price decided to purchase it. I'm real glad I did because it took no time to understand how to use it, and no time to get my guitar in tune.

I'm very satisfied with the tool and would recommend it to any other novice guitarist like myself.

"decent tuner", With all the junk out there I was surprised that these little Korg units do a decent job. I had purchased one of the Matrix units prior to the Korg unit and the Matrix unit didn't work at all. Turns out there are a lot of non-functioning Matrix units ( JUNK!).
The built in mic picks up the softest tones and displays the note played. It also can generate notes if you haven't developed the ear to tune that way which, is the proper way to do it. I tried the pitch pipes but my ears aren't accustomed to the notes yet so I have to cheat. Anyway, the Korg ca-30 works and is worth the price. I plan to add the bridge clip pickup and see how that works.

"No substitute for a Korg", Yeah so, I was born playing guitar, and born using a Korg tuner, I have used others and they seem inferior to me....Korg is the only wat to tune!!!

"This is a Title.", The Korg reads a tuning fork as slightly flat, however, it's still a vast improvement from a tin ear.

"Great tuner", This is the first time I bought a guitar tuner online and it works great. Love it!

"Perfect and at a great price.", I play the bagpipes, which are in the key of "B flat". It varies from set to set, but generally the low A is at around 470Hz (vs. concert A at 440Hz). This tuner allows me to tune my drones to my chanter at whatever pitch it is at. The only thing that would make it better is if it tuned my pipes itself. :) This tuner is perfect for anyone who plays an instrument with non-standard tuning. Amazon has the best price around for this great tuner (almost half the price I have seen elsewhere). You can't go wrong with that.

"Indispensable Tool for Any Musician", I would never be able to keep my harp in tune without this compact but powerful little tuner. Well worth the price.
