"My SanDisk 1 GB Extreme III SD Card ", The purchase was a pleasant experience. The shipment arrived sooner than expected. The SanDisk 1 GB Extreme III SD Card works awesome. I would recommened this product to anyone using sd memory card.

"For 6 months worked fine. No my laptop cannot read it.", I bought this card for $ 92 6 months ago. Everything seemed to be fine until today when I tried to read stored pictures and PDF files using my Kingston TraveLite reader. My DELL Latitude D800 laptop with Windows XP didn't recognize it. I cannot say it is a problem with the laptop nor the reader since other SD card, including Sandisk Ultra II 2GB work very well. I tried to format it in a linux machine but nothing seems to work. The only device able to format/read/write the card is my Canon S3 IS camera. Is a shame I cannot read the pictures from the memory directly. Now I have to connect my camera to my laptop to be able to read the pictures.

"Can anyone combine shipping?!", Product is fine, but why purchase from a seller that charges exhorbitant prices for individual shippin?!

"Better performance, delivered", SanDisk promises that the Extreme III SD card delivers enhanced performance, and they deliver. This card replaced an Ultra II SD Card of the same size, and the latency between shots on a Canon A710 IS when waiting for the camera to write the picture to the SD Card is much improved with the Extreme III over the Ultra II. The retail version that I purchased also comes bundled with some software (I haven't used the bundled software) and a handy padded case for SD Card cases. I highly recommend this product.

"Fast and dependable", I use this SD card in my most recent Canon A630 camera purchase and the difference compared to my previous card is dramatic. My new camera is 8 MP and the pictures transfer much faster to my PC than the A80 (4 MP) with the older card. Images pop up in the viewer quickly and on the whole the performance is excellent.
