"Great Speed and Lots of Memory"
I have a Nikon D200 and this works perfectly with my camera. The read to write speed is great! I am going to buy another one.

"great bang for the buck"
Great price, good speed on nikon d200 and hp hx4700 pda. nothing bad, all good.

"Fast and well-priced"
And that sums it up. I bought this card for an upcoming trip to Europe. I own the 30D, and I do not even know how many shots I can actually take (this card can handle 876 RAW shots, so who knows how many 2/3/6/8MP shots it can handle?). Buy this card with confidence!

"corrupt files"
With my D200, I got about 10% corrupt files when the card was new. Now, after a few months, the card is unreadable at all. Repeated emails to Transcend have gone unanswered.

"Works wonderful"
I bought this for my Nikon D200 so I could shoot RAW+JPEG. It has given me absolutely no problems. At 120x, this is a far, far better deal than the 60x Sandisk Ultra II, forget the 150x Sandisk Extreme III. Despite being a hard-core Sandisk fan, I am going to buy at least another one or two of these 8GB Transcend cards. Three cards = 24GB at 120x = about $300. Who can beat that? The only thing they don't have is the industrial temperature rating, but who cares??

To those looking for the first time: Keep an eye out. You can get these on Amazon for $120 or less if you are patient and check back periodically (I'm writing this in Feb 2007)... I think I found them for $112 and later for $96. Otherwise they were about $140.

What our customer's say!

"Great for the price", A bit slow to download into my MAC, but can;t complain for the price, was cheap...I bought it over a year ago, use it frequently with my Canon 5D, not a flow

"Stable and fast", Worth the price. It's stable and fast. I don't need to wait the card while capturing the good gestures of my baby!

"Get it if your not a bang-bang shooter!", This item is a bit slow as noted on my Nikon D200's, but for price/GB value and buffer size in most pro bodies, you can't go wrong. I've used three of this units for the past year - never a problem!

Get a Sandisk if you shoot quick action sports and the like.

"Solid", Not alot to say. Its reliable storage. Fast too! No problems so far. Put about 10,000 photos on it with a Kiss Digital X. Some say "all eggs in one basket", possibly true, but I tend to offload them fairly quickly anyway. Possibly would have been better served with two 4GB cards, but I've no reason to complain so far.

"works really fine", i bought it to use with a sony alpha 100. works fine, fast enough, really no issues.
too bad it's more expensive than the SD equivalent.

"Super Fast", Excellent product! Holds thousands of pictures and I can shoot all day without changing the card. If I needed another one I wouldn't look any further than the Transcend 120X.

"AWESOME !! ASTONISHING !!", I have and Ipaq 5550 and a Nikon 200, this card is just perfect. Doesn't need any previous format just insert and enjoy.
I have seen bad comments on the SD 4Gb, I don't care, I will buy another excellent product from TRANSCEND ! =0]

"Doesn't work with all cameras", This card is not compatible with my Canon Digital Rebel XTi. The camera reports that the card is bad, and photos get corrupted if you try to use it. I have done a bit-for-bit analysis of the card under Windows, Mac and Linux, and the card appears fine (using multiple card readers), so the problem has got to be the card's interaction with the camera. Others have reported that this card does not always work seamlessly with all models of cameras out there, and I guess the XTi is one of them. I have used other brands of 8GB cards with no issue in my XTi, such as PQI.

Buyer beware, your mileage may vary.

"it's no Sandisk, but for the money..", Sandisk has a benchmark test that relates NNNx to time. It is 150KB/sec = 1x. It follows that 120x is equal to 18MB/sec. I see no real advantage to spending twice the price for a small improvement in speed, especially when I'm not taking photos like a model photog. "That's it, Baby. Pout for me; work with me. Make the camera believe." Click...Click...Click. I mean really, how many of us are going to take bursts of photos? Even the few times I've used burst, I haven't saturated the buffer.
I've seen no degredation in performance, color, recyle, or download time over other more expensive CF cards. There are probably other cards that can out perform this one, but with what advantage?

"Great value on a quality product!", Using this CF card in my Kodak DCS Pro SLR/n and Nikon D2h and I'm very happy with it. The speed in the D2h is fantastic by clearing the buffer out quickly allowing me to easily capture images at the Monterey Historic Races. Image review on the Kodak is much faster too. I have taken over 10,000 images on this card so far and have had no issues. Great value for the money!
