"Slim Jim heaven"
I got one of those $25 gift certificate in the mail, and couldn't decide what to blow it on. This was great. I had, like, one Slim Jim a day for almost an entire month. And they were the Tabasco flavored ones -- my favorite.

If you've had a Tabasco Slim Jim before, well, you know what you're getting. It's pretty clear. If you haven't, well, maybe you should try one before you think about ordering two dozen.

I got a new batch of these tasty sticks and it seems they withered down the skin quite a bit. Even just early this yr, I had to many times spit out the skin because I just couldn't chew it enough to let it go down. I was basically chewing on it enough to get the inner "meat" out of the tough casing. Now, I can barely notice the casing and *everything* goes down much easier. I just had 2 sticks and they were yummy!!

"Horrible Texture!!!", I have gotten this flavor of slim jim before from amazon and loved it however this order tasted like salty cardboard! Expiration date of march 08 but these must have been stored improperly because they are nasty. I guess with amazon your rolling the dice when you order snacks. Sometimes they are good and sometimes they really really bad. Good luck to all who are brave enough to gamble their $$$

"Well Balanced Spice and Taste - 4.5 Stars", They're not quite as tasty as the regular slim jim, but when you want a little more spice these are what you'll need for your Slim Jim fix.

Every once in a while you'll get some that have far too tough a skin, and for that a deduction I give them. I also wish they were lower in carbs. They can get rid of those carb fillers and up the price if they need. That tiny bit of carb filler makes a big difference for those of us watching our carbs, and I would love to see those removed, leaving only the carbs used for flavor. I can only eat a few in a single day because of those darn fillers. WAH!


"yum", this a great snack... the spicy taste is a kick. my only complaint is that this is a big salty.

"Soft Inside, firm on the outside", Tasty snack you can enjoy on the go. This Slim Jim Stick has a firm casing texture on the outside and a soft meat filling inside. I'm a big Tabasco fan and the Tabasco gives this variety a nice kick in the favor department. Goes well when cheeses.

Warning to Girly-Men: the after taste of this Tabasco Slim Jim can and will over-ride your breath mint... But that's OK. You can wash the whole experience down with a beer or Kool-Aid, whichever you prefer.

"Ay Ay Ay!!!", Probably the best use for Tabasco Sauce to date!
