"Good one for PSP Slim", The package arrived in time as mentioned at the time of selling. This one is good for PSP Slim as it give an approx video play time of 11 Hrs and a game play time of 9 Hrs. I need it for travel and its working good for the reason that I bought for.

"about this battery", the battery that is advertised is not the battery that they send you. it turns out that the battery they send you is one of the fake batterys that isn't made by sony. very disappointed in this purchase, and i'm going to see if i can get my money back and find a site that will actually sell me the battery that they advertise (and one made by sony), not a fake one that they send you instead of the one shown.

"okay", I had my doubts about the battery after I had to recharge it so soon after the first charge, but I had also been running my PSP at 233/333 for the first time as well. My worries are annulled now.

"The Extra Juice is Great ", One of the problems with the PSP is the short battery time. On long trips where I could not get access to a plug the PSP was pretty much useless after only a few hours. But...just bought this and charged it up for a long plane flight. I believe I got about six hours of play on the charge and that was a nice change. The DS still gives a longer charge overall, but I prefer the PSP for portable shooters, especially when I have a lot of time to burn at airports.

"Great battery if it's the real Sony oem one", Lot of confusion about this battery, the 2200mAh PSP-280, regarding whether or not it will work with the new PSP slims. I bought two of these from Best Buy, and in spite of the package insert that states the battery is not compatible with the slim, they do in fact work with the PSP slim! But it's buggy, in that these batteries will not work (i.e. won't charge) the first time you try to charge it either in the slim with the ac adaptor or in a battery charger like the PSP-191 (oem).

The solution is odd but simple: you just insert the battery into the slim once first, and then all of a sudden, it will charge in the charger and in the slim (after removing and putting it back in). It's odd, but this was the case for both of my 2200mAh oem batteries. After first placing the battery in the psp slim and then taking it out, it will now charge either in the charger or in the slim with the ac adaptor.

Battery life is great with the 2200mAh, but not surprisingly, you can't put the battery cover over it b/c it sticks out a bit, but you can find a battery cover at dealextreme-dot-com for less than four dollars that will supposedly fit the 2200mAh battery in the psp slim. The 2200mAh battery does securely "connect" to the slim though, it clicks in and will not simply fall out without trying to remove it.

Overall, a great battery and the best price is at amazon!

"Great product, but...", This battery was designed to fit the original PSP. It's so thick that when you install it in the newer PSP slim models, the battery door won't go back on. Sony apparently plans to release a battery door that will accommodate it in the near future.

However, that doesn't mean you can't use this in your new PSP. The battery compartment is designed to lock in this battery with just a little pressure: slide it in and push gently with your thumb until you hear a click. It won't hold if the unit undergoes a shock, but for normal play, it fits perfectly fine.

And it's worth having because, at more than 1.5 times the power capacity of the battery that comes with your slim, it will keep you playing for a long, long time without a recharge.

"good battery, but...", i ordered 2 of these batteries at the same time i ordered my new piano black psp2k. note that the image shows an 1800mAh battery and i received a 2200mAh battery. sweet. unfortunately, the psp2k comes with an 1100mAh battery as stock so there's no way to replace the battery cover when using these (they are larger (thicker) than the stock battery). the battery life is not quite twice the stock battery life, but it is much better.

"Sony PSP Battery Pack", Great price and great product for frequent flyer or hang around with your friends. If you are in a long flights and you have seen all the in flight movies or entertainment - it is good have a spare battery for your PSP. Works great. W & C Trading there shipment was really fast. They price their products reasonably so anybody can get it - other then paying outrageously priced in then open market.

"PSP", I ordered this item thinking it would make my PSP sessions last a bit longer. Now that I've had it for a few weeks I can say that it does... a little bit. While the time extension isn't huge it does last a bit longer than the standard battery that comes with the PSP. And on the plus side it came in two days, can't beat that!
