"Works great"
Took a few tries to get the setup software working, but since then it's worked perfectly. The built in memory is great for using multiple settings for gaming and regular use, and on the fly is great for photoshop when you went to slow it down for detail and then back to normal with one click.

"Functional but uncomfortable"
This precision mouse technically works as advertised. However, the scroll buttons on the left side of the mouse and the cursor speed controls on the right side of the mouse are in a hard to get at position. Part of the problem could be the size of my hand which is large. But even so, the buttons mentioned above are positioned under a ridge on both sides of the mouse. Additionally, the buttons are too far toward the palm of the hand thereby requiring the fingers to reach under and toward the body to reach the control buttons which is an unnatural action.

This could be an excellent product if the ergonomics is changed, but as is it is much inferior to others mice which are available.

I am very disappointed in this product

"7 buttons!!"
Pretty cool mouse, lightweight and the buttons work great. It says 7 programmable buttons, but unless ive missed something 2 of the side buttons are always dedicated to adjusting the sensitivity. I play SWG and have only been able to make use of one set of the side buttons, which is enough for me anyway, i just set the thumbside buttons for use and ignore the other side as it is kinda difficult to get your ring finger in a position to use them efficiently.

"Razer Copperhead Mouse"
My son asked me to buy him one. He plays all those online games, WOW, Battlefield XXXX, etc. I reckon a mouse is a mouse, but he was buring up for one. Got it a few days ago. He's is raptures with it and the companion keyboard. I guess that means it's pretty good. Stan

"Best gaming mouse."
The Copperhead is the best mouse, I
have ever used. Excellent software allows for easy customization.
Looks great, and performs even better!
The only piece of hardware I have ever purchased that actually performs better than expected.
I had a G7.. but batteries kept dying mid-battle. This mouse is much better for gaming.

What our customer's say!

"Excellent Mouse", I have yet to game with this mouse but I can notice a difference with mouse responses when I set the sensitivity higher or lower. It did take me a little time to get use to the shape of the mouse and button locations. But after a month of use it is comfortable as my last mouse.

"poor customer service", Purchased this mouse for nearly $65.00,it came with a 2 year guarantee which was a selling point for me. Unfortunately Razer support is almost negligible. Mouse stopped functioning less than a year after purchase. Tried submitting a ticket to get it either repaired or replaced. Initially I recieved a response, However, Razer support has been silent since, after repeated Emails they have ignored, I wholeheartedly recommend against purchasing Razer products. Other thoughts...It's not even a good paper wieght

"Great mouse...", I was blown away by this bad boy. Love it so far. The only thing i wish i could change would be so that i could use it for mac :(, but it still has all the settings on it so i can still semi-use it on mac. Great gaming mouse, awesome precision.

"Great Mouse, tad too big for my hand, but amazing everywhere else", It gets 5 stars because its a great mouse, but in reality its a little too big for my hand, I'm accustomed to a shorter mouse that truly fits my hand.

Amazing side buttons with on the fly sensitivity changing from 5 settings. I use them all the time, especially when working in photoshop and trying to do some fine detail work. or keeping it on highest sensitivity to get around my 1920x1200 monitor without moving my entire arm or lifting the mouse.

Don't get RED, get BLUE! I would not buy this particular mouse again because its a tad too big for my hand, but i don't think i can live without on-the-fly sensitivity changes. I'll be keeping this for awhile till i find the perfect mouse.

I upgraded from a logitech MX300 after my second broke.

"Razer FTW!", Bought two of these, one for myself and one for my wife... She got red, and I got the green one. As mice go, they work excellent. They slide comfortably, track very precise, and the clicking sound isn't too loud (like some cheap mice I've owned). Now that I've talked them up, here's the dirt.

The red mouse wasn't as bright (particularly on the sides) as the green one.
Though it looks like it does on the picture, the Razer logo on the back of the mouse doesn't glow, and it actually isn't even hardly visible unless you really look closely. The ergonomics of the mouse are comfortable, but one thing that took some getting used to, and still bugs me, are the side buttons. They're poorly placed and both uncomfortable to use and uncomfortable to rest your thumb on. (for me, at least)

That's why 4 instead of 5 stars, but otherwise I can't say I've liked a mouse more. Do they really help to be super-precise in gaming? Maybe if you were using a cheap mouse before, but I don't see a world-shattering difference, at least in the games I've played. It's nice looking though.

"THIS THING SMOKES!!!", The sensitivity on this beast took some time to change to after my older optical mouse. I have only gamed a little with it and the flexibility to set all 7 buttons is a great bonus. the change dpi changing on the fly and sensitivity on the fly ability of this mouse along with independent x- y- axis sensitivity adjustment capability should find quite a few fans. I have been using it about 5 hours straight and there is no discomfort and it doesn't feel like there will be any. I have been on 2000 dpi on windows desktop and it's kinda crazy how sensitive the tracking is!

"Debated to be the best gaming mouse.", -It might not have a fly wheel scrolling but the 2000dpi does show its fangs in FPS games. Really cool mouse.

-Had no problems with it, been using it for almost half a year.

-I cant say that its a flaw but I have to remove the mouse every time I goto sleep as the red light stays on and it stands out damn well in the dark.

-It does have some issues with Linux (Ubuntu). It needs to unplugged and pluged after startup for Linux to recognize the mouse. But all the 7 buttons have the same default configuration in Linux and the work fine after the mouse has been repluged in.

-Considering the linux incompatibility and also the low amount of such high sensitive mouse in linux, I might give the mouse 4.9 rating. So I have to go for a 5 as thats the closest.

"Copperhead mouse, not finger friendly for long times", A really nice mouse. It was this one or the G5. I wish that I could have tried the G5 to see how it would fit my hand. This one is nice, but there is no rest places for you fingers. Not good for long gaming times. Other than that It perfoms great. I love how the settings are saved on the mouse so it can be taken to other computers without the software.

"User Preference", This is a comparatively lightwieght and low profile mouse that is still one of the 'top of the line' lazer mice out on the market today. The shape of this semi-long mouse will take some getting used to if you have been using logitech or other similiar mice as it is preferable to give the majority of the controlling of the mouse to your fingertips.
The mouse can be used with right or left handed people. This is a good and a bad feature as the two side buttons closest to your thumb side are easy to press, and the ones opposite can be slightly awkward. This however isnt too much of problem for normal usage and is only really a major concern when in an intense gaming situation.
The drivers and customization with this mouse is a major plus; however, it can be too technical for some users. This isn't really a problem as the default settings will most likely suit most people just perfectly.
In the end it comes down to user preference as this mouse is comparable to the best from logitech in technical stats.

"Typical Lousy Razer Performance", The Copperhead was my 3rd and last attempt to get a decent performing gaming mouse from the Razer people. I have had 2 Diamondbacks and this Copperhead, all with inherent problems that could not be resolved. The biggest being the expense of the mice.
The Copperhead being the worst of the three with an update format that takes a rocket scientist to get it figured out and never really stood up to half the work it took to get it working second rate. The Diamondback's both would drop out on "boot-up" and leave you mouse less. I did ALL the updates and preps by the manufactures specs and never got them to work right. I have given up on Razer and I suggest that any good gamers not waste their money on Razer's product!
I give it 2 stars and that strictly for the lights and color.
