"sanus tv wall mount", Would have rated this mount a five star because it does works smoothly and is buildt for "hefty", however the mount had several problems.
1.it came with the the wrong length bolts (too long) for mounting the rack to the tv, (and fortunately my husband didn't force it before discovering the error, and purchasing the proper length) A call to customer service clarified the size as well as instructions for centering the mount which were not cyrstal clear in the manual.
2.the bolts that mount the plate to the wall are made of cheap pot metal and one sheared when tightening down. ( had to drill through the plate an anchor with a replacement steel bolt) Had we realized this before installation we would have replaced all of them. You just expect better from a $300 plus mount !
All in all- we are pleased with the ease of motion and movement of the articulating arm, and our dealings with Amazon.

"Agree with JT BUT>>>>>>", JT's comments as well as many who rate this item highly I must say I agree.

I DID run into several installation problems that related to a tool missing from the box: A Hex wrench. The one they included was not needed, but for the pivots on the swing arms. The one NEEDED, was not included and made the work a bit confusing. As well, as the directions made ZERO mention of using that hex wrench. Ok here is the story.
There are four short, and two long [ 4" ] vice bars on the back...You are supposed to thread a screw into the four short ones, then loosen them then tighten them..BUT they don't tell you this until the end. The wrench I needed to do such wasn't included. Had devil of a time finding the correct size hex. And I have almost every one on hand....Taped the one I used to the back of the unit for later use...that bad.

If you don't loosen these vices first, you'll have a tough time puting the screws through them...
If no hex, you cannot loosen and tighten them to the cross-bars correctly.

LASTLY, the wires on the back will take some doing. I have a Hole in the wall via which all cords travel. I recommend NOT using too many wires, as when I move the TV out to a 90degree angle for cooking in the Kitchen, the cords are a bit of a problem. Tried some cleaver things like zipties, and weights etc. BUT now probably going to use a thin-wire technique and do away with many wires.

VERY Sturdy unit, HIGHLY qualified for my 42"54 Samsung TV that weighs about 50# on own. Swivel had me nervouse with their short wall screws, so opted for 4" models of high grade steel
DON'T Over torque...When It gets tight, give it another 1/4 turn.

TAKES TWO people and get a good stud finder, and a good yet, small level.

Mine is a bit off by a 1/4 inch on right side [correctable when I'm in the mood ] and not noticable, only to me, I guess....

ALSO, you may need to add rubber bumpers like for furniture on back of TV to prevent wall bumping...

"Great wall mount", If you want a great swivel wall mount get this one. It's a piece of cake to mount if you have 2 people. Rock steady once mounted. Easy to move and stays in place. When it's against the wall you can't tell the difference compared to a static wall mount. Righ now attached to a 37" Panasonic plasma but will easily change when I upgrade. Can get close to 80 deg angle without a problem. Make sure your wires are long enough to move the unit around and that you don't hit the wall with the the corner of the TV.

"Great product", I'm put up my Sharp 46" LCD with no problem. I was able install it on my own following the instructions and set everything up until the part where you need to place the TV on the wall mount part. I had to have my wife help as the TV is way too heavy for me to lift and at the same time place on the mount. It was a very simple install and took me about an hour which includes finding studs. I'm very happy with this mount as it allows me to turn the TV in any way I like. I would recommend it to anyone who's getting a mount.

"great wall mount", took some time to get everything on the wall but price was right and so was the product

"No Complaints", If you go slow through the installation instructions and plan ahead for wall clearances and access to your hook ups on the back of the T.V., this bracket does everything. It adjusts in every direction and angle for viewing and pulls far enough from the wall to give you full access for connections. It was worth the money to have this dependable and versatile bracket.

"Inexpensive and great!!!!", I reviewed many mounts for my 42 inch plasma and found that you can spend as much as 500-800 at best buy and circuit city for the same capabilities as this mount. Bought the mount and extremely satisfied with the performance and look. Have had many comments on the mount and how the T.V. can come about 2-3 feet off of the wall. This is a great buy and you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend

"heavy duty - little used but so far great", this is what you need for heavy flat screens. it pulls so far out you can turn a 40" Samsung 90 degrees from the wall.

"Missing parts", The box arrived with several parts missing. A call to Sanus resulted in the missing parts being sent via 2 day. Great Customer Service.
