"Review on Wacom", This is a great product. I'm a photographer and editing my photographs used to take a lot of my time. This tablet made everything much easier. The only drawback is that it makes my computer run a bit slower when I'm using programs that use a lot of ram. It does take practice to get used to using the pen but only a couple of hours to get the hang of it though. The only negative thing... and it doesn't have anything to do with the product itself... was that whoever packed it didn't do a good job... so the box was almost open when I got it.

"input device overkill", I bought and returned this item with the idea I would use it as an input device alternative to relieve some stress from my mouse. Not good for that application, you still have allot of motion which includes increased arm and wrist motion. As far as a drawing device its very good but the amount of drawing I do I accomplish with a rollerball, not Picasso stuff but simple shapes and objects. Those into serious illustration cant live with out this device though. The quality of the materials seemed very good.

"Great product small gripe", I love this wacom 6x11, used on a pc with dual monitors and ps3 and painter. The only gripe I have is the slider quick button to the top left and right of the tablet area. My arm rests in that area when I draw so I start zooming in and out like crazy when my forearm touches the slider bar which is a pain at times. Other than that maybe a way to prop up the tablet would be cool, I'm using erasers right now. Sleek design and very lite. The pen has a great balance to it and fits very comfortable in your hand for those allnighters. Wireless would be great but not sure about response on a 500mg file. I would upgrade to a larger one maybe if I had the extra money but this size is great.

"Great for Web Design / Graphic artists!", The Wacom tablet is just great! At the beginning I was having some kind of difficulties coordinating the movements of my hand and just looking into the monitor, but pretty soon I started to know how to use it better and now I do more things with it than with the normal mouse.

I'm working on two monitors at the same time and it's just great that the included software lets you decide you want th tablet to cover so in case you want to use only on a program or screen, that will be easy to accomplish!

Read this reviews before You buy...

"If you draw you need this", It works excellent with my 24" iMac. It feels similar to w drawing on paper. If you are an artist you owe it to yourself to get one of these.

"Great tablet for widescreen", This is the second tablet I've ever owned, the first being an old Pablo tablet. The Pablo left me with a bad taste in my mouth for tablets in general, but I decided to give this a chance since Wacom has been around forever and Pablo has gone the way of the Dodo.

I just finished my first drawing class in college and wanted to translate those skills to the pc. It was a very natural transition for me, although there was an issue at first. This is a 'wide' tablet and my screen is a widescreen, the pixel ratio between the two weren't exactly the same, so circles drawn on the tablet turned into slight ovals on screen. This is an easy fix in the wacom settings app. After making the change, there is now about a 0.5" vertical strip on the left of the tablet that is unusable now (it's 'off screen'). This seems like a problem, but it really isn't and you won't notice it if you need to do this (you could always use it as an excuse to get a better monitor).

I was worried that the 6x11 size would be too small to work with, but it really is more than enough to work with, even with the unusable zone on the left. The size of the whole tablet is about as wide as a standard keyboard and a little taller.

A note for Vista users, when you install the tablet, Vista recognizes it and tries to use it as an input device for everything using handwriting recognition (it works impressively well), which is both cool and annoying. I finally turned it off as it just bugged me.

There was also a coupon for Photoshop CS3 in the packaging. I ended up getting both the tablet and Photoshop CS3 for the price of what Photoshop CS3 would have cost alone, a HUGE plus.

I really have nothing bad to say about this tablet, it simply rocks. Even though it's connected via a USB cable, the cable is roughly six feet long so I have all the freedom I could want.

"Wrong proportions", This tablet is as good as other Wacom products (very good) but the 6x11 size matches no screen resolution I can find. And also doesn't match any two screen side-by-side resolution. The closest resolution to it's proportions would be 1920x1080, the resolution for 1080 HD video (the tablet's proportions would scale to 1920x1047) but monitors don't come in that size. Using my 1920x1200 monitor I have to portion off 1.4 inches of the tablets live area to work at 1:1. So I'm really using the tablet at 6x9.6 inches. a screen resolution of 1440x900 or 1680x1050 would have the same issue. I'm puzzled at the choice.

"Only one problem with this tablet", There is only one problem with this tablet so far. I now want to have just about every available drawing, painting or illustration software on the market. This Tablet is truly amazing. I have no complaints at all about this tablet. Of course, I have rarely had any complaints about Wacom tablets.

"The best thing I spent in my life!!!", I'm so glad I brought this item and waited to get it. I love it so much!!! It makes it so much easier to work on photoshop, drawing on the computer or just other uses. It's pretty amazing what it can do. I really didn't expect the drawing tablet would be so big; I loved it even more when I saw it. So recommend everyone to get this brand and have one.
