"Just don't squeeze them ..."
They worked quite well and as expected. Just be careful when breaking the latch before inserting the cartridge, you might inadvertently (like me) press the sides too much. When the latch comes off, you'll have ink spurting into your hand ! Just hold the cartridge from the narrow sides rather than the wide ones and you should be alright.

"good buy", this is a decent buy for the money.I would like to be able to get all the colors for the same low price, however.

"Cheaper color ink ", I love the cannon ink cartridge because your color ink is cheaper. You only buy the color you are out of instead of a whole cartridge. Also their price of ink is much cheaper than what I was paying with my last printer.

"Ink goes too quickly", The ink, and the printer it goes into, works ok. The problem is that the ink gets used up too quickly, so the lifetime cost of using this ink with an associated printer is VERY high. Even printing black text soaks up some of the other colors of ink. Buy a printer that uses this ink only if you have deep pockets.

"WELL . . .", WORKS GREAT, BUT WHY DOES IT COST SO MUCH? IT'S AS IF CANON SELLS THEIR PRINTERS CHEAP SO THEY CAN SCREW US IN THE INK. AND I'VE TRIED REFILL INK KITS AND STAPLES' REFILL, BUT FOR SOME REASON THE QUALITY ISN'T VERY GOODS.

"Good Price for Canon Inks", Tried other off Brand (generic) inks and always had problems. Canon Inks work always in their products.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Expensive, but a good ink system", I had researched the Canon inking system and knew that it was not the least expensive on the market, but after living with it for a couple of months now I am comfortable with it's value. The positive indication that the cartridges are in correctly is kind of cool. I hate going in to change ink, so it is nice to know that they are in right before you button up the device.

I deducted one star because it is still a tad on the pricy side, but still worth it.

"canon PGI-5-2 pack pigment", A good product, easy to install. The only draw back with this printer is the cost of the replacement ink.

"Review of Canon Ink Cartridges", I have always felt that replacement ink cartridges sold by the manufacturer of the printer for which they are intended are superior to other cartridges manufactured or marketed by another company. The Canon ink cartridges which I purchase for my Canon printer have always performed perfectly and lasted for a reasonable time.

"Thrilled", I am thrilled with my buy. I have looked all over and found my best deal at Amazon.com much to my surprise. I have ordered ALL my colors from here and will continue to do so. Ebay offers refilled cartridges without the chip needed and say for YOU to replace them with your old ones, well why take the chance of screwing up your printer...spring for the REAL ones that are COMPLETE. Best buy....Amazon.
