"Works good", I have it for almost a year in my Palm TX. Easy to install. Stylus moves smoothly on the screen with precise touchs and no wearing. It is a little expensive but it less costly than buy disposable protectors for the same time I have used it.

I give it to a grandson from México that comes to visit for his palm TX but when he unwrap his gift he noticed that the size is for smaller palms.

"this is useless", I purchased this with my new pda. The problem is the screen protector is " TOO THICK " which rendered the pda screen useless which we all know is how you work the thing,, Dont know what clear touch was thinking but save your money and get the one from palm.

"Worthless for Palm TX but useful elsewhere", Fit the Palm TX screen perfectly and easy to install. Unfortunately made the touch screen so insensitive the Palm would not input from the screen at all. Makes it totally worthless for your Palm. I salvaged it by cutting it to fit as a protective cover for a digital camera's LCD display so didn't waste my money altogether.

"Long Lasting, Clear Screen Protection", I bought this after reading its reviews and am glad I did. Previously, I'd owned the cheaper varieties that come 2 to 3 to a pack. After a few months of use, the cheaper ones were all scratched up in the writing area -- which made letter recognition difficult for my Palm.

The Clear Touch has been on my Palm for ages -- maybe 2 years -- and is still going strong. I did gouge the Clear Touch early on, but that's the only visible blemish. This thing is not indestructible, merely "very tough", which is good enough for me.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"I was greatly disappointed", This product was not at all what I was expecting. I guess I did not read the description very well but I was expecting to get a dozen screen protectors but that's not the case, you get 1. Once I got this on it was too thick for my touch screen to work properly. I threw it out and ordered another product. Buyer Beware.

"Excellent product, needs minor improvements", Just as the other reviews say, this touchscreen protector really does look and feel a lot better than stock palm or belkin screen protectors.

1) LOOKS GOOD -- i'd say palm and belkin protectors diminish the "raw" screen image quality by 30-40%. this protector diminishes it maybe by 10%, definitely a noticeable improvement and very much appreciated if you like your PDA to look good.

2) FEELS GOOD -- the stock screen protectors diminish the stylus responsiveness by about 20%. this product is actually **smoother** than the "raw" screen, and for me it makes the stylus a lot easier to use, **enhancing** the responsiveness by about 10-15%.

3) ADVICE -- easy to apply but definitely get all the dust out before you apply it. after i applied it the first time, i noticed dust and hair underneath the screen protector that i had not noticed before . i took the screen off (be careful and gentle), washed it, re-cleaned the PDA surface, and reapplied to make it look better. worked fine, easy to clean with soap and water, just minimize your greasy fingers touching underneath it.

4) NEGATIVES --
a) the fit -- there is a 1 mm perimeter of exposed screen on the top and one side of my palm TX. i don't care about this issue look-wise, but the stylus does get caught on it occasionally and some of the edges do not "seal" completely to the surface, kind of like a permanent air bubble or like dog ears on a book (perhaps a result of shipping damage, in which case they should provide better packaging for the product).
b) scratch resistance -- it's certainly better than the stock screen protectors, but it is still not 100% scratch resistant, which i'm not sure is even realistically possible. it WILL develop scratches over time (eg- i've had mine for only 3 weeks, i take care of my PDA pretty well, and there are already a handful of tiny scratch specks in the graffiti area, although only visible at certain angles -- this is being really picky here, but you should be aware of it).

because it is not a "perfect" product and expensive compared to other screen protectors, i've rated it 4 out of 5. that said, i will likely purchase it again when my screens get worn out. i consider it a "luxury" item -- if you use your PDA all the time, it's worth the purchase. if you are not super dependent on your PDA, it's maybe not worth it.

"Worst screen saver I have ever used", I am a longtime Palm User as well as Pocket PC and Smartphone user. I have successfully applied many of various screensavers. I suggest not buying this. It caused touchscreen problems while installed. After several tries I simply gave up and bought Palm Screensavers locally.
I also found the plastic too soft for a natural feel when using the stylus. Avoid this product!

"OVER-PRICED", Too much money.

I tried to put it on my palm and I messed it up badly...Make sure you know how to apply the darn thing...one little finger-print or a few air bubbles and it looks bad!!!!

Costly mistake for me...now my palm screen goes 'ah-naturale'....a little organic based cleaner...and the screen looks great.



"Great product!", [This is a replacement review for a previous one, dated 27 Feb 2007. I unintentinally changed the star rating from 5 to 1, and didn't realize it until it was too late to change it. I know, it made no sense: "Great product! 1 star!"]

One of the reviewers graded this product way down, based on cost of shipping. Good warning for other buyers, but not entirely fair to the product itself.

I bought this screen protector based on other product reviews, and I'm glad I did. The Palm T|X screen appears to be a bit fragile (at least that's how it seems to me). The ClearTouch Crystal Screen Protector retains the sensitivity -- as far as I can tell so far -- but appears to provide a much more resistant writing/tapping surface. [Aug 2007: Continues to provide both sensitivity AND protection.]

From the product descriptions, I wondered if it would be tricky to install. It's NOT. Goes on like a charm. Do clean the original screen carefully first, and use compressed-gas duster to get the last dust particles off. Otherwise, a breeze to install.
