"SA5 Good, ZM-STG1 Better.", Hi all,

Just bought this thinking that the Zalman CNPS9700 LED fan would need a good thermal paste. Much to my surprise the Zalman fan came with a high quality paste (ZM-STG1). In fact, I'm giving this paste only 4 stars because it's not as easy to apply as the Zalman paste, which comes in a bottle with a brush and used like white-out. Be sure to apply a think coating on both the CPU and intended heat-sink of whichever paste you use. SA5 paste requires a 200+ hour curing period with multiple heat cycles, whereas the ZM-STG1 doesn't. The SA5 may be marginally better (1 degree C cooler), but that is questionable. [...]

"-5C° on Core 2 Quad", the Arctic silver compound did a great job on the 2 Pc i've got (Pentium 4 and Q6600) -5° on Q6600 and -10C° on P4 compared to stock compound by intel

"great product ", there is just enough grease for one cpu (dont let the picture fool you it is really tiny) combine this with a new (better) cpu cooler and you are set... you will notice a cooler running cpu right away.

"7 degrees off!!!!", p4 over here, always at 40 and 41 c, now 32-35 c, and on load only 39 c, never breaks to 40, you must buy!!!!.

"Great", I was a little skeptical that it could drop my cpu temps... Not anymore it did as adertised.

"Amazing....", Well.., i am not an expert in temperature and stuff like that.., and i didn't test the product with another program such Sandra (to say a program to monitor it) the only i can say, if that before, the monitor that comes with the bios of my intel motherboard, showed 50 degrees, now its shows near 45, and i can feel more fresh the air coming out of the tower, and i hear the fans working less than before...
I think this product its excelent and at least do what is says it does...,

"Cooling achieved!", This stuff is great! Had a cooling problem with my 3.4ghz dual core Intel CPU, replaced the thermal compound with Arctic Silver 5, and realized an immediate 20 degree drop in cpu temperature! Even after some serious computing, several hundred hours later, the temp stays well with in the safe zone! The Intel Desktop Utilities temperature alarm has not gone off since using this! All is as cool as a mid-winter day!
