"The Sims Complete collection rocks!", This sims is the greatest game of all time and having all of its expansion packs is absolutly fabulous.Item is very resonobly priced for al that it has to offer. For many years I had been playing the version on the PS2 and I finally decided to get this one. There is a lot of furniture for your sims. The entire idea of the game is great and keeps me playing for hours. The graphics are completly awful but If you care the much about graphics go visit an art museam. Being able to control virtuaal people and giving their life a certain path is fun and keeps you ocupied. To me the expansion packs that are included all on one disc arn't that great but they are just extra for the reasonable price.

"SIMS COMPLETE", Awesome...lots of fun. You can get lost in this game....end up missing work.. LOL :)

"The complete package", Well, first I bought The Sims Deluxe with 1 expansion and that got old after a while but now that I have this with all the expansions I dont know if it could get boring. There is so much to do now like adopting pets and going downtown. The possibilities are endless!

"Some good, some bad", Many things in this game get a five-star. But just as many get one star, so the average comes out to three.

Things that were awesome...

-All expansions within one. This game is so full compared to the original Sims, though it can be overwhelming at times.
-You play God. You can even kill your Sims, or have them go into gay relationships.
-Building houses is a real kick. I have one house that is Goth-style, one that is a villa, etc etc.
-I love the pet option that comes with Unleashed. Spells are fun to cast (Makin' Magic) and it's fun to go on Vacation. I haven't really done much in the Superstar area though.
-The clothes! Oh, the fashions that I can put my Sims in! (and this Complete collection has a program that lets you create your own fashions as well) As each expansion came out, more outrageous and wild fashions were available, so this collection has them all and then some. Thus, you could make a house AND a family that fit together, though the kids could have used a few more clothing options.

Bad things?
-Some of the 'rules' of the game are annoying... having to make a certain amount of friends to advance the job ladder. It was so time-consuming to keep Relationships and make them just so I could get a better-paying job.
-One thing that pisses me off is the Beanstalk in Making Magic. I desperately want a magic beanstalk but keep getting crappy things like the geraniums or the stupid Root. I got ONE crystal (out of seven possible ones), and several ordinary beanstalks. I have no patience to keep buying magic ingredients to make spells in the HOPE of getting a magic beanstalk, or more kinds of crystals. Shame on the creators of this game for the convoluted rules.
-Unrealistic time. It takes so many Sim-minutes to do simple things such as getting out of bed.
-The bills that the Sims have to pay just for the stuff that they already paid for. Seriously.
-I already had the Sims and four of its expansions before I bought the Sims Complete Collection. This was just a big money-making scheme (fortunately, I sold my single Sims games on eBay to recoup some of my money) I might buy Sims 2, but only when they stop making the expansions for Sims 2 and make a Complete Collection like they did for this one.

So, overall, 3/5 (or 6/10 stars) No wonder so many people used cheats, or hacked game objects for easier use or download.

"BIG WARNING", If you have played sims2 before, DON'T buy this game!!! This happened to me and I'm gonna have to get rid of it.

"My teenagers love "The Sims"", My daughters have been bugging me to buy them "The Sims" for quite some time because many of their friends have it. I was concerned that they would play the game to the exclusion of seeing friends and doing non-computer activities. I found that they invite their friends over to play the game. It has been very interactive for them and did not make "computer zombies" of them. Plus, they want to use the internet less!

"Everything or nothing..", What you need to understand when purchasing this item is that all of the expansion packs get installed at once. Not only does this take time, but you end up with a very confusing game, with none of the elegance and ease of play that made the base game so much fun.

Some of the packs are fun, but all of them, together, with no way to turn them off? Bad idea.

"Sims Complete - Review", There's nothing I can say that hasn't been said already about this game. Mr. Wright is sheer genius and this game is pure fun.

Actually, I might make the disclaimer that this game is like digital cocaine for a lot of us.

"The classic virtual doll-house", Originally released in 2000, The Sims succeeded Myst (1993) as the best-selling video game ever produced. Lacking any notable strategy, role-playing, action, or puzzle elements, The Sims instead offers a virtual doll-house inhabited by animated, semi-autonomous dolls known as the Sims. Gameplay consists of leading one's Sims through their day-to-day lives as they make food, use the toilet, go to work, sleep, socialize, and learn new skills. The game also features a mode in which the players can redesign and redecorate their Sims' homes.

Money cheats are popular, giving the player the ability to create their Sims' dream homes without waiting for the Sims to earn the needed money through work.

The game's artificial intelligence is a common source of frustration, particularly in the Sims' inability to resolve race conditions in using bathrooms, frequently leading to messy situations and unhappy Sims.

"Q and A about the Sims Complete Collection", I just received my copy of the Sims Complete Collection (7/9/2007).
Here are a few questions I had, so I hope the answers I give help you.
Q: Do I need to uninstall my previous versions of The Sims.
A: NO. If you built it and saved it in the previous game it is still there in The Sims Complete Collection.
Q: Will it work on my computer
A: If you have Windows XP and a decent computer YES. I have a 4 year old Pentium 4 with a NVIDIA Geforce3 video card and it works great, no choppy video or time delays.
Q: What do I get?
A: 4 Disc in a DVD like box. But the key code is on the back of the booklet inside.
Q: How long will it take to install?
A: 25 to 30 minutes
Q: What about new objects?
A:There are so many new objects, building items and new neighborhoods that it will take you awhile to adjust to so many choices.
Q: Did you encounter any problems?
A: Yes but only with the registering process. I have and EA account but it refused to recognize it. So I tried creating a new one. That also failed. I finely just gave up and went to the Sims Complete Collection site and added my serial number to my list, and now all is ok.
Q: Where you please with your purchase?
A: Yes. Buying it as a complete collection was a HUGE saving over buying each expansion pack. And buying it thru Amazon meant that I didn't even have to get dressed except to get it out of the mailbox
