"Star Wars BF2!", Star Wars Battlefront II is probably the best battlefront game for the PSP! Star Wars Renegade Squadron just didn't seem that fun, so I bought this one. It is much more fun than Renegade Squadron I'll tell you that! You have 13 maps, not as many as the consoles, but you get an extra three missions that you don't have on the console. The graphics aren't the best, but at least I have fun! The gameplay is very good, a little hard, but I get used to it. For $17 it really isn't that bad!

"time and money wasted.", i bought this game because i was looking for a good shooter and i kinda like star wars, as soon as started playing it, it felt weird the player moved wait too fast, the aim its horrible, and i dont even know if it has a story, since the game its so bad, i only played for 5 minutes and then got it out of my psp,so in other words i ended up wasting my time and my money, DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.

"A failed PS2 port.", But is that bad? Not necessarily. The main downside of the game is that it's just not as meaty as it's PS2 predecessor. I have found that people who have played the original, and liked it, will find the the game lacking without the dual analogs and a few of the maps hacked off. Another thing that I found a tad disappointed were the space battles. Now, the PS2 predecessor space battles still had some kinks, but this version completely took out the ability to sabotage everything from the inside. The only thing left is to fly around in circles bombing the ship constantly.

Seriously?

Now I'm not going to nitpick. This is a very solid game. I always find myself coming back to this when I'm not playing any certain games, playing with a friend, or just when I have nothing to do. The replay value is simply fantastic. The class system is unrivaled, and the depth and strategy you can get from one little package makes me grin from ear to ear.

Graphics - 9/10
Almost on par to the PS2 predecessor. Some fog and bland textures bring it down, though.

Sound - 10/10
It's hard to make a Star Wars game sound bad. Blaster shots, explosions, music, grunts, Wookie roars (ahem), it's got it all.

Gameplay - 7/10
The instant action mode is the tried and true hella fun Battlefront we all know. The Galactic Conquest is lacking, and the Challenges feel thrown in.

Depth - 8/10
This is a game you'll keep coming back too. Lack of online is a problem. But as I said before, some more maps would be nice.

Overall - 7.5/10
A failed PS2 port, which manages to keep the Battlefront name. Solid gameplay keeps this UMD in your PSP. I would recommend this to everyone.

"A good buy", Although this game lacks a story or campaign, I found myself having a lot of fun with it. The controls take some getting used, but when you do, the game is a blast! However, if you are not a star wars fan, then I would not recomend this game because of the lack of story and and campaign. But the best way to find out is to try it yourself!

"gift for son", I can not speak on the game but I can say it arrived on time. My son age 10 likes it.

"COOL", This game is worth it. It has the best of all the games made so far.

"Good Game", Good average game I gave it a 4 because it can get repetitive. Its cheap so I recomend you get it. Not as many features as Xbox or PS2 but it does have different features in it. Controls can be tricky but if you have a PSP this is one of those must have games.

"Cool Stuff", THIS GAME SAVED MY PSP! I was thinking about selling my psp, but I heard what the stores give for one, and there was no way I was going to give it to them! So I bought the game thinking it might help. "BOY DID IT!" I'll give you three reasons why to get this game 1: the graphics are pretty good 2: the controls
are a little tough at first but very easy when mastered 3: IT'S AWESOME!!!
GET IT !!! NOT A CHEAPO! BUY IT !!! And that's why I REALLY like it.

"My PSP needs more battery life...", ...for this game, because I can't put it down! I had heard a lot about SWBFII, and finally got around to buying it. Originally, I was going to get it for PS2, but I've been buying a lot of games for PSP lately (I bought it over a year and a half ago and haven't until recently been using it all that much). I've never played STBFI, nor have I ever played the console version of SWBFII... I hear there are some differences regarding the number of maps... and apparently theres a story mode (I would have liked to have seen that). But some trimming is to be expected when transferring a game to hand-held.

(Edit): Finally got around to console version, which is infinitely more developed than PSP version, but nevertheless... BFII is still my favorte game on PSP.
