"Better than the 1st", Although the 1st issue was fantastic and cutting edge in FPS style games, this 2nd generation from star wars is even better. The part of being able to play a "special" charcter, to me is not needed. I wind up never using it, except for Boba Fett every now and again. Otherwise I stick with the other choices. Straight forward in play style this game can only get better as long as Lucaarts stays true to the Battlefront frame. If you've played the 1st one, you'll definetly enjoy this one. More locations and more to do.

"The Best in Star Wars Gaming", This game was an amazing game, with several improvements to the original. You can fight as Jedi in it, and the feature for fighting in space is really nice too. However, I miss fighting of the ground, and they took some of the better courses in the original Battlefront away to make room for this game.I would reccomend buying this game, but don't expect wonders. However, I would buy this.

"If only there were online play...", Star Wars Battlefront 2 is a great game. The campain does get frustrating, (damn those jedi scum) but there are other play modes in the game, simmilar to the campain in the original game. The only draw-back is that the online play is severly lacking. I wanted the good-old one player per team setup, but when I got online, nothing but jedi deathmatches or private servers. Verry dissapointing.

"Awesome Multiplayer and Not Much Else", This game is more like an expansion pack to the original Battlefront than anything. The singleplayer campaign is flatout piss-poor, and the AI is dull. Nonetheless, the multiplayer scene for this game is alive and hyper.
Space maps are fun and easy to control with practice. Some servers are all space, many are space-free, and a lucky few keep a nice mix. This game is well worth the current price of $20, as long as your ready to jump into the multiplayer scene for the real fun.

"Best Star Wars game ever!", Whoa, this game totally blew me away, especially when I first played it. (But that happens to most people the first time they play, right?) I am a total Star Wars geek, and I love shooter-games. This game combined the two just perfectly. The many modes of play allow for both strategy (galactic conquest mode, capture the flag) and hard-core 1st/3rd person action (conqeust, assault, hunt). Whats different from Battlefront 1 is that you canplay as heroes (the Fetts, Dath Vader, Obi-Wan, etc.)which is totally irresistable. This game even has maps/mods that are constantly being made byt fans, making the game much more interesting.

"Excellent", First off, this game is a MASSIVE improvement over the first Battlefront. I can't even begin to describe how much more there is in this sequel. Space combat, the ability to play various heroes and villians, etc. (though unfortunately you still can't play heroes/villians in space). The maps, while there are significantly more of them, are still somewhat uninventive and there is no ability to speak of for destroying/affecting your environment (ie: blowing furniture up...woohoo!). Other than these smallish flaws, the game is damn near flawless. It's one I keep coming back to to play and I'm not even an FPS (first person shooter) fan. Get it, you'll be happy you did.

"One Of My Favorites", this is a very good. there arent alot of problems either. the worst part is all the objctives are very similar. you always have to blow stuff up and capture comand posts. but who ever said blowing stuff up isnt fun. this one is also more realistic than the battlefront 1 (as realistic as star wars can get). your guns will overheat so use automatic weapons cautiously. there are some unrealistic things. it takes two sniper shots to kill some one. (wookies sometimes take three) also, as when you start to shoot your gun, its on target but after about two secounds your bullets hit every thing but the target.

you should get this game over other war games for the two player. most other (and more realistic) games are only one player. this one has a very good two player. the rise of the empire mode is also very fun.

so if your looking for a realistic war game go play call of duty or battlefield. if you want to play a war game against your friends then you should definetly get it.

"skylermerris", This game has good controls and features but the campaigns suck. you are only givin about 30 per objective and they are "retarded". they get wiped out while the enemy has unlimited soldiers. it is not in any way true to the movies or even the original. i give it a 3.

"The best Star Wars game ever!", When I first bought this game I didn't expect it to be so good, but imagine my surprise when a message at the bottom of the screen says I can now play as Luke Skywalker! This game is a real killer. It has a whole lot of action, destruction, and space battles. Best of all the PC version is not different from the PS2 or XBOX versions! The graphics animate beautifully, and the music is straight from George Lucas's soundtrack. However, the gameplay is a bit sparse. You aim, shoot, reload, die. It may get a bit old, but the Jedi and their Jedi powers keeps the excitement flowing through the game. In the end, this game is a MUST-HAVE for fans of Star Wars, shooters, action, and adventure games.

"Hours of great excitement.", My kids play this game for hours. It is currently their favorite video game. They enjoy playing against others online.
