"Logitech provides extremely poor customer support", I have owned a logitech fusion camera for two years. During that time, my camputer has crashed almost consistently when booting up. I have contacted Logitech numerous times; their e mail process is complicated; they do not address specific questions; and they cancel the inquiry after one attempt; it is necessary to renew the inquiry for the company to respond. The closest they came to providing a solution was a non solution; a complicated means of uninstalling and cleaning the computer of remaining hidden segments. I was then to install a supposedly updated driver, which never did work. One one occasion the company admitted the software has a problem they cannot resolve which may cause the computer to crash.

I have attempted to contact the company by phone; they provide no 800 customer service number; it is a local number, which will ring incessantly, then give voicemail excuses for extended wait times, one time as long as 30 minutes, at which point I just hung up.

I would not buy another logitech product.

"Webcam", We love this little gadget. Sets up easily and helps us stay up close and personal with our friends and family that are far away.

"Like being there", Our daughter moved to Oregon 1 yr. ago and we purchased a set of these to stay in touch. We use these about once a wk. so we can visit with the grandchildren. Really makes the wife feel better after an online visit and the daughter dosen't feel so homesick. As close to realtime as we could hope for. Easy to install. Just add Skype and you're good to go.

"Skype on!!", Have one on each of two computers, works great. Wide view, good mic, and easy software.

"Great quality", Excellent quality for a webcam with very good built in microphone. Easily fits on any type of monitor or on a desk. Pivots up and down, butI wish it would also pan left and right.
You will need a fairly modern computer to use this camera. It doesn't need to be the latest and greatest, but if you're still running Windows 98, you might not want to consider this.
The camera produces great picture quality and has some nice features. Face tracking really isn't one of those features. It just doesn't work well enough to be useful, especially in low light situations or if you're pretty far from the camera.
The software is a little obtrusive. I feel like it's constantly presenting me with buttons that don't interest me while making it difficult to get to the settings that I do change often (such as zoom and pan).

"Great image, no support for Winxx", I get an absolutely gorgeous image on Win2000. It bugs me that their are no drivers for WinMe, which I prefer since it takes a quarter of the time to boot. Haven't tried XP yet since it's just a remake of 2000 with a bunch of extra features I don't need.

"I don't like this cam", I don't know much about webcams, but the picture quality on this one seems awful. It makes my face as red as a tomato and my eyes into darkish blobs and my mouth and teeth into a blurry maw. The software with the cam allows very limited adjustments and offers no solutions to these problems. I hope there are better cams then this on the market?

"Easier to set up than I expected", Some of the other reviews indicated this camera and its software might be a bugger to set up. I am not technologically oriented AT ALL. In fact, this was the first software I ever installed. But it went very well. I only had to restart the computer after installing the software and hooking up the camera to the USB port and I was in business. (I have an older Dell desktop and am using Windows XP.) I use the camera for SKYPE and my friend says it is pretty good quality, particularly the lighting in the evening. The microphone seems to work well even without a headset. So I am satisfied and recommending the camera to all my family members whom I am trying to convince to hook up to Skype! I only gave it 4 stars because I've only used it about a month now. A fifth star would be awarded if the camera continues to perform well over a reasonable length of time.
