"Works", Got this so I could listen to my ipod in the car. It works but I hate the fact the sound is so crapy. If you don't get it right on the ipod it just has that horrible noise in the background. If I had known this I wouldn't have spent the $13+ for this. Until then I can live with it until I get a receiver that plays ipods.

"Low quality sound", Retractable cable is a good feature for use, but the sound quality is not good enough. You may hear additional noise, not apparently, but it is there.

"retractable makes the difference", I had a similar product before (different manufacturer) but after about 2 yrs the cord shorted out, I'm pretty sure it broke at the miniplug attachment. I scoured the market for a replacement, this was one of the few that included automatic retracting, a necessity because this was for my wife's car and she doesn't want loose wires everywhere!
Anyway, it works as advertised, we'll see how long the cord lasts.

"Works perfectly!", I didn't experience ANY trouble with this product at all, & neither did my friend who also purchased one. The retractable cord is very handy, keeping things neat in the car & making it easy to store. The sound quality is the same as listening to a CD. It's MUCH BETTER than using one of those transmitters because you don't have to worry about static or radio interruption.

I've used it everyday since January '08 & it still works perfectly fine. I always leave it in my car, & in our scorching California summer I was a bit worried that one day it might break from being in oven-like heat. Still fine!

I bought this cassette adapter because my previous one broke. This one was actually better then my last one. It was better in sound quality, the cord plug at the end was positioned better (my previous one broke because the plug at the end had a bend in it and it would cause problems, this one has the plug straight), and the price was even better. I love the fact that you can wind up the cord so you do not damage the cord while storing it in your car or wherever. It is just a great device and if you have a tape player, I strongly suggest using this over any FM transmitter out there, much better.

"Piece of Sh*&@#", i liked the idea for the retractable cord but that was the only thing that worked, i put it in my tape player and it immediately started making a lot of noise as if the parts were all loose. I bought it new and expected better from the item even though it was cheap, i guess i guy what i paid for dog Sh$*%#&t

"Does not work with auto reverse car radios", Tried it in two Lexus cars,no luck. Bought Sony adapter from store,
about same price when shipping cost added to Anko unit, works
perfectly.

"Gets the job done", The retractable cable allows me to keep the adapter in my cassette deck without having any dangling cords. My only minor annoyance is the clicking noise the adapter makes as it is running. Fortunately, the music drowns that out.

"Purchase Mistake", This adapter didn't work for my car. I drive a 2001 Ford Taurus. The cassette adapter made an awful noise and would eject after a few seconds. I'm going to try the Sony adapter. It specifically indicates it designed for more most car cassette players where the tape insertion is on the side.

"Good Product", I use this product quite often and am very please with it. The retracting cord locks in at various lengths if you don't want constant tention.

My vehicle tape deck rejected this adapter a few times at first, but I haven't had a trouble since then.
