"Never got it to work.............", Piece of sh-t........... Stinkin thing, I spent 62.00 on a spankin new Video card and the thing never ran, spent hours with ATI Radeon's support and EA support, they were helpless.

"Tiger Woods Golf 2006", I have been an avid Links golf player for longer than I like to remember. I must say that TW Golf beats Links hands down for graphics quality and "playability." I've had it now for a little over a month and can't seem to stop playing it. The physics of the ball's flight and roll are realistic, and the wind factor is true as well. Overall, I have found it very easy to master (at least at the novice level), but it is still challenging. Recommended for hours of enjoyment.

"Some of the best money I've ever spent on my parents!", What can I say? I bought this game as a Father's Day gift for my dad, and he LOVES it. He talks about it like he's really out on the course playing a game of golf, with childlike glee. If he's happy with it, so am I!

"You Da Man!", Having played the 2006 version of this game for about 3 months now, I can say unequivocally, it's more fun than a barrel of monkeys! The graphics are not the best, as noted by other reviewers and Tiger Really doesn't look like Tiger at all, but the game play is superb! It's a lot of fun competing on the Hacks' Tour, Amateur Tour and Finally the PGA tour, but like in real life, it's an uphill climb!

The Rivals mode is just plain fun! Playing against Old Tom Morris and a bunch of real characters--including one who insists on wearing a blacksmith's apron--from the turn of the century is a real trip.

I could wish for a couple more golf courses though and a MUCH better instruction manual. It's pretty much hit and miss to find out what you're supposed to do, but, luckily, it's fairly easy to find out.

WARNING: DO NOT---DO NOT, PURCHASE THE 2007 VERSION!! IT FLAT OUT DOESN'T WORK!!!


"Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2006", I have had trouble with the game having pauses in the action. Sometimes the shot are hestitant and makes the screen jump. I have been with EA Sports support services and they have made serveral suggestions but some I was afraid to use because it might hurt my PC.

"Lots of Fun", I purchased this game a month ago on Amazon and have thoroughly enjoyed playing it. There are many playing levels and game options, the graphics are great and the natural backround sounds really add to the realism of the game. At about 1/2 the price of the 2007 version of the game, it's a real bargain at under $10. I was able to convert the course disc to a vertual disc on my PC hard drive using Alcohol 52%, which allows the game to run a little faster and is much more convenient than having to run the course disc from the CD/DVD drive.

The only negatives are that the commentary from Gary McCod and David Faherty isn't always in sync with the shot that was hit and it would be nice to have some additional "name" courses included.

Golf Course re-creations are top notch!
Game faces and being able to create your own golfers will make you feel like Dr. Frankenstein. Able to input all aspects of my game.
A bit of trouble loading onto PC, but EA Sports was able to help solve problems quickly thru their Tech Suport.

Highly recommended!

"Very challenging and fun", There are anough facets to the game to provide hours of entertainment and the graphics have come a long way since these sports games started.

"Great game, not ready for the future", I installed this on my new laptop with XP. It ran great. I installed in again after upgrading to Windows Vista, it has never run again.

I know many people will shout that it because of the terrible Windows Vista. I don't totally agree.

You would think a company as big as EA Sports would have prepared a patch for this thing to run. The website was absolutely no help. I wish at least the big software companies, like EA Sports would plan for future Operating System changes.

"incompatible", not sure how or why but I cannot get the installed program to run? I am pretty well versed with software installations so I can only presume it is an incompatibility with my processor? I could set up a new character, get equipment, etc, but no game play or practice.

I will give it to my partner, have him try it on his computer and if it works, will write back here and let you know.
