"Economical, Sturdy,Light, Very Comfortable"
First let me say I prefer headsets that enclose my ear completely.I am using these headphones for online gaming and chatting and find them to be an excellent value. The sound quality is very good , mic has great noise canceling and is crystal clear on Ventrilo. I would not use them to listen to stereo music but for online gaming they are perfect.
I have tried many headsets and most of them didn't make the comfort grade. I find these phones to be extremely comfortable for an enclosed ear headphone. I can wear them for a long time without any discomfort whatsoever. To the negative reviewer about they are too tight on his head I found that most headsets were too tight on my head but these are not.
The are very sturdy. I really like the mic arm which is hinged (as opposed to the bending type)and clicks into position and be moved away when not in use.
I can honestly say this headset is the best I have ever used. Congrats Koss !!

Excellent headset/mic. Headset is very good for listenning to music on your computer. The mic is very clear for using in voice chat, and is loud. You have to adjust your mic volume on you computer, but this mic is great....

Everything about the SB45 is pretty much amazing, the only trouble is sometimes the mic pick-up but it works.

"Broken microphone, right out of the box - twice", Everything fine with these, comfort, sound is adequate, but we've had two sets with broken microphones. Tried on several machines (mac), all same.

The first unit failed after a couple of days of use, the second one had an inoperative mic right out of the box. Returning for a refund this time, not willing to waste any more time.


"As advertised", Good product. It arrived on time and in excellent shape. Put it to use right away and was very pleased. I would recommend it to others without hesitation.

"Very good for the price", I purchased this headset to replace the cheap ones that came with my the Dictation software I purchased. I have to say that the bass sounded pretty good and the noise canceling works very well. everything comes in crisp and clear. It is true that they are kind of heavy, but you can take them off periodically if it's a problem. Combined with a lifetime limited warranty. This headset can be beaten for the price.
I give it five out of five.

"Great for Online Gaming", I play many online games and use voice programs like Skype and Ventrillo. I also have my entire music collection digitized on my computer and often use my headphones to listen to my music using Windows Media Player. I had been using flimsy Logitech headsets for years and had gotten used to duct taping them together when the cheap plastic broke and putting up with the discomfort that came from wearing them for extended periods of time. I finally got fed up and tried Koss on a friend's recommendation and have been extremely happy with this headset. This headset has great audio and is extremely comfortable even after wearing them for periods greater than an hour. The are well constructed and extremely easy to use. I highly recommend these for gamers, audiophiles or simply someone who wants a good prodcut at a fair price.

"GREAT COMMUNICATION AND HEAD SET", GREAT AUDO MIC AND HEAD SET. SOUND IS GREAT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HEAD SET TO ANYONE.

"Great Headset", I got my pair recently as an upgrade to the previous model by Koss(SB-40). This is a significant improvement for the microphone over the previous model, sound is roughly similar. I could not find a better headset for voice and sound. I tried blasting the headphones and recording via voice, it sounded as though there was no sound in the background. As for sound, sound quality is amazing for the price of the headset, their is almost a noise canceling effect on sound. Koss also has a lifetime warranty if anything happens to the set.

"Excellent", These our one of the best headsets I have had. I've had about 5 different headsets, and this is the best quality one yet, from sound to the rugedness of it. It is also very comfortable too.
