"Clip on mic", For an entry level price this mic can't be beat. This is great for someone who is starting a podcast and has a limited budget. Actually that is what I bought it for. The sound is good and the price is great.

"Nice little Mic...", I bought this with a Olympus VN-3100PC digital voice recorder and it works great and the voice recordings are fine. It's nice and small and easily clips onto your shirt. The wire length is just about right for most situations. I would recommend this to my friends without misgivings.

"Good Microphone", The microphone is ideal for Olympus voice recorder. This Microphone enhances the recording quality of the voice recorders.

"You get what you pay for...", This product is okay. I bought it to use with the Olympus Digital voice recorder to use with video shoots. Our camera doesn't have a way to attach an external or clip mic so this was a cheap alternative. Unfortunately, the recorded sound was very distorted and ended up not being able to use them at all.

But, the voice recorder is a great product so I will just research and find a more costly, better quality microphone to go with it instead. If you are just going to use this mic for personal use not to be published, it is great and cheap. But the quality of the recorded sound with the mic is so poor that it is not worth using for any video and/or sound production.

"I think its OK", The price is reasonable.
I did not get a good recording where I initially wanted to do it, such as in class or in a piano practice room, but it's probably because of my fault, since in class I couldn't place the microphone right in front of the instructor. Also, the practice room is small so that sound reflects too much. In addition, the rocorder I use is Olympus VN-2100, which might not be a perfect recorder.
Still, I can't find a good digital voice recorder with a microphone that records better than my old SONY Mini-Disk rocorder/player with no external microphone. WHY....?

"BUY IT WHEN YOU REALLY NEED IT.", I believe it is great product. I am using it very seldom- my recorder captures sound great from all sources even without the mic. I know that how you program your recorder will have a great impact on the recorded output. I think that is the most important- the recorder.I recommend Olympus WS brand.

"It Works", I bought the Olympus Digital Voice Recorder WS-311M without the Microphone accessory and quickly realized that I needed the ME-15 microphone to cut out a lot of the fuzzy background noise. It picks up across a large room pretty well, too. Both the Digital Voice Recorder and the ME-15 are worth the money.

"Good but", Great little mic, but when played back, sound only comes from 1 speaker, because the plug is mono. The stereo mic is bigger and cost more, but for about $2.00 you can get a mono to stereo plug adapter at radio shack. That makes a big difference, and sound now comes out both speakers

"Perfect for the job", For the price this is a perfect little microphone for audio. I use it on a Sony high end voice recorder and it works just fine. Unless someone is unreasonable and expects $50 quality for little more than $10 this should satisfy.
