"simple and great headset, but this $90 price is ridiculous", If this is what it looks like -- the simple, silver plastic usb logitech headset that has no volume device on the cord -- then it is the best headset that I have ever used, and it is more comfortable and better than the "premium" ones that they released that have the large annoying dangling volume control.

BUT, now it looks like nobody carries them anymore so there is one Amazon partner that has them listed at $90 each? PLUS $20 shipping? that is way more than the original fee and they are not THAT good that they should be marked up so incredibly high.

Looks like someone has a strategy to squeeze money out of a few un-informed shoppers... These should cost maybe $40. or less.

"Short-lived", It worked well while it lasted, although the sound quality was a step down from my previous 3.5mm headphones. But at about 8 months from purchase, it died.

"Great headphones - comfortable.", I really enjoy these headphones - for the price you really can't go wrong.

I'm a bigger fella and I can wear these for a while without my ears going numb on me.

I also have a bad habit of tearing up headphones - these have outlived all of my others (maybe even combined. heh)

"shoddy, shoddy quality", After less than four months of occasional use at my desk, no particularly wear or tear, the headset has a faulty contact and the microphone is dead. While it's under warranty, shipping it to Logitech is almost as much as a new headset.

"Worst reliability", I bought six of these (not from Amazon) and three months later, we are down to two of them working. The cord is very thin, and if you plug it into a computer sitting on the floor, it in is inevitable that the wheel of your desk chair will touch the cord and when that happens, you're sunk. The cord is flimsy and not strong at all. The slightest tug and the plastic sheath of the cord will break and one of more of the wires inside withh break or short. We had the same failure mode on all four that have failed so far. Because the wires are so small and are enamel coated stranded, they cannot be repaired by mere mortals.

"Great for Skype", Purchased the USB headset for use on Skype. I LOVE these headphones. It's great not having to crawl behind my computer to plug in a microphone and headphones. The headphones act as a sound card on your computer, which is great because I can switch between my desktop speakers and headset easily without having to unplug stuff. Great sound quality through the headphones and the microphone.

"USB headset", I do transcription, so I use this headset 8-10 hours a day. It's very comfortable and light. The sound quality is excellent, and so far I have had no problems whatsoever (besides soaking one side of the earphone in my coffee cup; once it dried out, it was fine). Takes a licking, keeps on ticking. I've tried doing the speech recognition program in word, and even though these worked fine, the program definitely needs help. I think I've had these a month. I had the same kind before, and they lasted about a year before the wire broke on one side of the headphones. Will see how long these last. I've tried other headsets that lasted only a few months. Its frustrating, but seems to be a common problem with all headsets is the wires breaking. I've tried enough to know. These seem to have lasted the longest. I definitely would recommend them. For someone who doesn't use them like I do, they would probably last a LOT longer.

"Does not work well with Intel Macs", I would avoid buying this headset if you are planning to use it on an Intel Mac. Mine worked for a while on my MacBook then started turning the sound into blobs of distorted audio or cutting out all together. I've Googled this and it seems to be a problem for others who claim Logitech wasn't helpful.

On the other hand, I bought a set of Logitech V10 USB Notebook speakers "used" this week and so far they are GREAT so I'm not slamming the whole company here.

"Good headset", This is a good headset for playing games, when i first recieved it i thought they had made it backwards, but after using it for a while i really enjoy the style. Only complaint is that if you wear glasses which i do and you have this on for a prolonged period of time it starts to squeeze your glasses behind your ears. aside from that great product!

"Logitech headset review", These are comfortable headphones with a USB connection, sound quality is good. I wish I would have realized that there is an advantage to having separate mic and speaker connections into my computer so I could use it just as a microphone for Skype, while using my regular speakers to listen.
