""All In""
I downloaded this game and played for 1 hour straight no interruptions. I am 14 and am just getting into poker. It is a great game. I finished 4th, 5th, and 7th. It seemed very short. I can't wait to buy the game. The one flaw was that it didn't look exactly like a fox sports broadcast like the people said. Their was no odds of if I would win. No announcing and nobody saying all in just pushing a button. I can't wait to buy it.

"Best poker game around"
I can't stop playing this game. It teaches yo quickly and then off you go. The most fun you can have without losing your house.

"Not A Good Game"
When I purchased this game I was hoping to have some reasonable AI, but I was dissappointed. All the players play the same; it doesn't matter if you are going against T.J. Cloutier or Gus Hanson, they play the same in this game. When the cpu gets any pair they jam the pot till they are allin. If they have no pair, they simply give up. This programming is way too immature for the serious player; however, the price is reasonable for the low quality entertainment it provides.

"Average at best"
I wanted to play a computer game with an AI instead of online against other human players, a game that would both entertain and somewhat challenge me.

This is an avearge game at best if you take poker serious and want to improve your game do not purchase this game. It is for entertainment purposes only.

Major flaws in the game:

- Regardless if a player is called, his winning hand is showed

- It *seems* whenever you are raised and then fold the opponent will show his hand (see flaw above) and he will be bluffing you, however when you do have a solid hand and you call a raise you are 9 out of 10 times beat and they opponent usually has pocket pairs

- I'm not 100% sure but I think hands are not rewarded correctly. For example I went "all-in" with A-7 and Phil Ivey had A-6, my 7 was the 5th card to make my hand, and his 6 was the 5th card to make his hand, yet it was a split pot?! I could be wrong but I did a long double check to make sure.

I've only had the game 1 night but this is my first impression on the game.

The controls and flow of the game are also too involved and require you to hit way too many buttons to keep the game moving.

"You got to be kidding"
HI

i barely know how to play Texas Holdem but if the superstars on tv weren't any better than the AI on this game i'd be superstar #1....the game is so easy to win at it's not worth playing.

What our customer's say!

"High Stakes - Low Excitement - Not Worth the Gamble", This game claims to have all the big stars from the Poker TV shows, but it was missing many of my favorites. Besides, rather than being talking, interactive stars, they are just pictures that show up around the table. The REAL reason I rank this game so low is that it is devoid any of workable AI. I won several tournaments in a row simply by going ALL-IN whenever I had a decent hand. And, like others said, I could not detect ANY difference in the play styles of the stars. For my part, I tested out incredibly stupid tactics (like going ALL-IN EVERY hand whether I had something or not,) and easily won time and time again!

A game needs to take me away from my own life to some kind of realistic diversion. This game is not realistic at all, and it was no challenge whatsoever. Anyone who thinks they can learn on this game and then go out and become a poker millionaire, like their PR implies, is in for a rude awakening.

After I bought it, I saw a demo of Poker Superstars #2. I tried that one as well. You guessed it, the game really lived up to the claim of being "number 2," if you know what I mean.

Bottom Line : Not fun and not challenging. I kick myself for giving it any stars at all.

"computer game", i have and play the World poker tour game and it is so far superior to this. I only played this one time and haven't thought of playing it since.

"Not for the Pro's", This is a great game for novice's and/or beginners! I downloaded it about a year ago, before I new a flush from a straight. since then..I've won the millon $ multiple times.
Best of all, I like kickin' the pro's butt!
I highly recommend this one.

"Doesn't even get the rules right", Don't get me wrong, it has the very basic rules right. But it does not follow poker rules when it comes to:

* Who pays which blind during heads-up play
* What the minimum raise amount is
* Announcing raises (the pros make string bets!)

In addition, the visuals are cluttered, and the blind and ante levels aren't always displayed.

Despite all this, it's kind of fun -- but not as much fun, or challenging, as playing free online poker with play money.

"Great fun, but very basic", I downloaded this game because I had just played hold'em for the first time a couple of weeks earlier. I wanted a game that was fun and this one definitely fit the bill. This is an easy game to get started. Unlike other "trainers" there aren't a lot of options that must be set up (this is also a fault.

The AI is interesting. Unlike a other reviewers I could see a difference in style with some of the players. For instance, Phil Ivey almost never bluffs. TJ is impatient and will go all in at the slightest whim.

The early tables are easy. After a few hands I was able to bluff when I needed and suck players into going all in. The final table however, the players all of a sudden start playing looser. Where most would fold prior to the flop, at least 1 or two players always stay in sometimes up to the river.

My main gripe is the lack of true tournament play. If I lose at the first table I am not out of the tournament. Each game is a new table with new chips. The tournament is set so that the 8 players playing will play 7 tables. The purpose of the first 6 tables is to determine the final table starting chip amount.

Basically I could lose each of the first tables and still make it to the final table, just with a reduced chip amount. To me this is one of the downsides of the game. I wish the tournament gave you new players at each table and required you to win the table to advance.

All in all, if you are just looking for a fun game to play, this is a good choice. I have had the game for about 2 months now and I still play a few hands when I need to relax.

"Excelent Game", This is one of the best poker games available. The graphics and sound are worlds above the rest. There are three play modes available, Season, Round, and Bankroll, two of which are no limit, and the third is a limit game. The opponents play at a reasonable level for experienced players, but is not too difficult to beginners. I've played many poker games in the past, and so far this is the most fun and addicting game I've come across.

"Best poker game out there",
There are a lot of really bad texas hold 'em games out there (I've played a bunch of 'em), and this one seems to go against and the trend and actually is very well done.

It follows the Poker Superstars TV show. You get to play against some well known poker players - like Doyle Brunson. It looks pretty nice and follows the show's graphics, music too. I really liked the crowd aplauding my good hands.

The AI is pretty good, much better than average, and a lot better than some of the really bad ones I've played against. It definitely took me a while to win a couple of rounds, and still working on winning the tournament.

All in all, a pretty great game, glad to finally have a poker game that I like to play - perfect for laptop play on my business trips.
