Others say...
"works good" It works good. I have a Compaq PC with Windows XP. I am also using a TRENDnet KVM switch with it. I would buy it again, if I needed one.
"Good as a PS/2 to USB adapter BUT not good for both" My inention was to use this product on a PS/2 mouse and keyboard and plug into a USB Port. As it turned out, I could only use it as a single adapter (mouse OR keyboard) because my Dell 530 (and 530s) would not recognize the mouse. I ended up buying another one of these adapters but the same thing happened. So, I ended up buying 2 and using up 2 USB Ports. I guess I should have known better.
"works great on logitech cordless desktop" Seems to work fine on Logitech Cordless Desktop with a ps/2 keyboard connector. Saved me from buying a whole new keyboard on my new pc.
"easy and useful" Gave this to my father, who is not very techno. He seems to have got it working with no trouble.
"Works with a PS/2 Mouse" Have not had a chance to use it with a PS/2 keyboard but works with a PS/2 mouse perfectly. I am using it with a Dell Inspiron laptop.

What our customer's say!
"Awesome! Just what I was looking for!", These handly little converter cables work like magic! I have an old D-Link DKVM-8E KVM switch and I wanted to connect up some laptops that only supported USB connections for keyboard and mouse. These converters worked right out of the box, no drivers or configuration required! A great product and timely delivery.
"works for me", It is working fine - I can use my old desktop mouse and keyboard with my laptop when I'm at home. A lot cheaper than buying those new with USB connections.
"Great converter", Using this product with a Sony Vaio notebook, Dell keyboard and ancient 3-button mouse. The first time I tried it, I hadn't quite waited long enough for all processes to start on the computer after boot up, and the keyboard didn't function. I just unplugged, restarted, waited sufficiently, replugged, connected the mouse and keyboard, and everything works perfectly.
"Does not work with KVM", I would give this 5 stars if you are only looking to use your Ps2 devices into ONE USB computer. The problem is that this does not work well on a KVM. It works when one computer is completely shut down, but not when both are running (which defeats the purpose of using a KVM!). The computers I used were a Dell Inspiron Desktop and a Toshiba Laptop, both computers had the same problem. I have another USB to PS2/Converter and that works just fine on both computers. Unfortunately, I had no luck with the Trendnet one despite several attempts.
"Works great!", I recently purchased a laptop to replace an old desktop and I still wanted to be able to use my monitor, mouse and keyboard at my desk. My mouse was already USB connected but my keyboard wasn't. I searched around and found a few different USB to PS/2 converters, but as I read some of the reviews I was hesitant on which one to get. I decided on this one and it has worked perfectly. Every key on my keyboard works as expected. I would recommend this to anyone.

Read this reviews before You buy...
"Works with KVM and Dell", I use this cable with a new Dell PowerEdge SC440 server and an old Apex Outlook KVM. Works great - no problem at all.
"Does not work with PS/2 KVMs", This converter does not work to connect a Logitech USB wireless mouse on a PS/2 KVM switch. Someone said it did work, but it doesn't. I wish I wouldn't have wasted money on this.
"Converter dependable so far...", So far I have not had any issues with this converter. I have been using it for about 2 months now and am very satisfied. I only have my keyboard hooked to it at this point, but like the option of being able to hook a mouse to it too if I need it in the future. The converter was easy to install and has been reliable. No funny issues with my keyboard responding improperly.
"Does not work with Dell", I tried this on both a Dell Inspiron notebook as well as a Dell Inspiron 530 desktop. On both computers the mouse would work but the keyboard did not.
I ended up with the Kingwin UPS2C(I could not locate it on Amazon, had to go elsewhere) and it worked fine. That was is only $4.99 and works perfectly even with a KVM.
"Does *not* work with Dell Vostro or a KVM switch", I've tested the TU-PS2 with a Dell Vostro 200 and can confirm that it *doesn't* work, despite of what a previous reviewer found. If you plug the TU-PS2 into a Dell Vostro 200 and connect a PS2 keyboard, every keystroke gets multiplied 5 times, there's clearly something wrong with this converter.
I've also tested the TU-PS2 (independently of the test above) with a KVM switch, an IOGEAR KVM2Kit, in which case it doesn't even work with a plain vanilla HP laptop with Windows XP installed.
Conclusion: The TRENDnet TU-PS2 works with less hardware than a cheap noname $5 USB/PS2 converter you can order from various places. Definitely not worth to pay $15.
