This is my third Cirque Touchpad! I absolutely LOVE it! I initially purchased the first one because I have small hands and the mouse just felt too bulky in my small hand .. when I got the first Touchpad I found it SO easy to use and convenient I just never even considered going back to a mouse when I purchased new computers. Then as I started to have rotator cuff pain AND surgery .. it was a life saver! It was a really wonderful method because as the pain evolved the Touchpad was easy on the shoulder .. then in time with the surgery I could easily switch to the other hand without much effort when I had surgery on the bad shoulder .. and I am NOT ambidextrous!

I would recommend the Touchpad to anyone looking to avoid damage to hands/wrists/shoulders .. you may be young today .. but with the years of wear and tear on your body with computer use .. you may be amazed at how quickly that gorgeous body of yours may wear out .. really! Take it from someone your grandmother's age! Who is STILL pretty gorgeous! (According to Grandpa!)


"Nice idea, but, sloppy execution", I'd like to have titled this review "Nice idea, but CHEAP execution. However this product is not cheap. It costs a lot as mice go, and one should be able to expect a top-notch product. However, this touchpad is done at cheap cost, sloppily and sold for a relatively high price.
What is right with it? The concept of an external touchpad is great. The size and weight of the product are good. That's about it.
What is wrong with it? The design and finish are just plain poor and poorly thought out - or maybe just NOT though-out. The surface of the trackpad has a really bad feel. One would expect far better from a standalone touchpad - I have seen far better surfaces on integrated touchpads in laptops. Furthermore the buttons are stiff and the are positioned wrongly. They should be flush with the surface of the touchpad, not higher than it as they are.
This product is just sloppy in everything but the pricing. Dont be fooled into thinking it is a high-quality product - it isnt.


"Best alternate mouse", Best mouse I've ever used. I have wrist pain and this took care of it. Love that custom settings for button.

"Definitely A Good Buy For Me", I was skeptical of the usefulness of this item, but it has turned out to be quite the winner for me. I use it all the time. ALL the time. I have problems in both my shoulders, which makes it painful for me to use my mouse for extended periods of time (I do it anyway though). The EasyCat 2-BTN Touchpad Black GP160U (I'm putting the full product name in my review, since there are several versions, and the reviews I looked at before making my purchase gave different scores for different versions) takes a load off my mouse hand (and shoulder).

Anyway, I haven't downloaded or installed the software that allows you to customize some functions (I believe there's some software for that). I just use it instead of my mouse, and it's great for moving around the screen, opening/closing programs, clicking links on web pages, etc.

It's light and small. The touchpad itself is about the same size as the one on my Toshiba laptop, so I felt right at home with it.

It was easy to set up. I just plugged it into a USB port and was ready in a few seconds (I use it on my Windows Vista Home Premium machine). I place my Easycat to the left of my keyboard, giving me quick access to the mouse with my right hand. The only issue is I haven't mastered the art of clicking and dragging, like when you're drawing a rectangle in a digital photo to crop out a section. I'm sure it would be easy with a little practice, but I just grab my mouse for selecting/dragging actions.

If you're looking for an alternative to using your mouse for everything, I can confidently recommend this product. It does make a difference.

"Easy install and functional USB touchpad", Adesso touchpad installed very easily on both my laptop and desktop PCs running Windows XP (Pro and Home, respectively). Operating system recognized the device at once, and it worked just as advertised. Haven't used it long enough to judge durability, but it seems very well designed and highly functional.

"Easy Cat", It doesn't seem to function as well as the built in laptop touch pads.

"Too Small for Prime Time", This touch pad needs to be twice as large. If you have large fingers, it's a chore to move around the pad. It's fine for what it is, but doesn't work well for me.

"My favorite stressless "mouse"", I've tried so many other types of mice and this is by far the most stress free on my hands/wrists. Like any mice whether its conventional or trackball or touch pad, they all take getting used to. If your hands/wrists are hurting you, give this a try!

"Excellent Item", I am very pleased with this item since it certainly helps me ergonomically (the primary reason that I bought this for. Touchpad instead of conventional mouse). I am taking this to office sometimes and it certainly helps me avoid using conventional mouse.
