"Hard..... BUT FUN!!!!", The game has great graphics, good gameplay and action packed, silly fun!
It is superb until the end. It is pretty hard at the end, yet I still think it's worth a try! If you want a better game for your PS2 though, try Sonic Riders.

"Fun movie, great game", My kids really enjoy playing this game. I only wish that it were a two-player to avoid all of the bickering about whose turn it is.

"RATED WRONG AGE GROUP....", My 12-year-old daughter wanted this game, and completed it in less than 4 hours. Much, much too easy and MUCH too short for this age group. It would be best for kids 6-10. It did have great graphics, but we were very disappointed with the overall game. Not much play value for the money if you buy it for someone over 10.

"Loads o' fun", We loved the movie and my 12 year old daughter loves this game. It's nice to have a game that does not involve shooting weird beasts and splashing blood all over the place.

"My 5-Year Old Boy LOVES This Game", My son loves this game! We rented it first from Blockbuster and now he won't let us take it back, so I ordered it from Amazon.com so I can take the game back soon to Blockbuster! I have to help him through some of the areas, like when the penguin is fishing, but I don't mind because it's FUN.

"Madagascar PS2", Before I saw the movie my mom bought me the game. I thought that it would be perfect for my age because it was rated E-10. But it turned out that when i started playing it, before i knew it I was on the 4th level. The game is super easy, and i beat it in 2 days. It had a couple of fun features like being able to play like Alex, Marty, Gloria and Melman, but that was about it. This game isn't worthy of and E-10 rating. It was kind of repeatitive and it was really short. So if you want to try out the game I definetly recommend renting it before you buy it. This game is for kids in the younger age group, not for ten years old and up.

"Finally, a true kid-friendly game!", Many games my kids have aren't actually geared towards kids. This game is perfect for children. It's fun without being too hard or easy. My children are 6 and 8 years old and can be challenged and entertained. I highly recommend this as a great family game. Many games we can take turns playing!

"Way to short and way to easy", I rented this game and it's EASY! I did the first three levels and stopped.
It's also boring except for one level. I wouldn't recemend this game.
If you want to beat a game, rent this game.

"Fun, but short!!", The game was fun but extremely short!! I beat it in like, 2 hours! This is a fun game, but if you like challenging games and are a video game pro, then I dont recommend this game.

"Great Fun For Young Kids", I started this game with my 10 year old son, and not too far into the it, I realized I was the only one playing. It was great fun, but it was too "cutsie" for him, an extremely short game, and too easy to win. And in this day and age, "cutsie" games like this don't normally hold the attention of boys over the age of 8.

Now, my 7 year old neice LOVED it!! To her it was a little more challenging, but not so challenging that it frustrated her. And once she got the hang of it, and was able to win, it gave her a great sense of accomplishment.

My thought is this... great fun for young girls under the age of 10, or moms who don't like "fighting" games. (Moms, if you are really bad at video games, this one will make you look like a pro.) Think twice before getting this game for a boy over the age of 9. It might "offend their manliness".

Word of advice... if you can, rent it first. It's an awful lot of money to spend on a game that is such a fast win. Especially if you are the type of person who wins a game and won't bother with it again. But if you have a child who loves it, and would play it again and again, at least you know you'd get your money's worth.
