"Great for in-car use"
This product is no longer produced by Griffin. They have switched to the "dock connector" model, which unfortunately does not have a pass-through function, so it uses up the dock connector on my iPod G4.

I got this for $7 and am VERY happy with it. I use it in my car, with a Belkin cigarette lighter charger (uses the dock connector) which also has a line-out jack which plugs into the audio connector on my radio. My wife is happy that I can control the iPod without taking my hands off the steering wheel. Great product! The dock connector replacement from Griffin...not so good.

"Good Value"
The performance was slow to react and distance was about four feet.
I called tech support, no help. I decided to replace the battery, a $3.50 additional expense, but it works great.
Plan on buying a replacement battery if you order one.

"Exceeded my expectations! Works perfectly!"
I was initally skeptical about this item because of how inexpensive it was, but when it arrived today I was so thrilled to find that it works perfectly. It is made well and works flawlessly with my iPod Photo (4th Gen). I am surprised to hear that anyone has had difficulties with this product. I will also add that it will also fast forward (and reverse), and not just skip to the next track (and back one). Also, it can be used to play photos on an iPod phot, for those of you who'd want that feature. I highly recommend this item.

"Warning - Doesn't work with 5th generation iPod"
I'm pretty unhappy that there was no mention on this on the Amazon site since it will NOT work with my iPod Video (as clearly stated in the Griffin box cover).

Besides that the product looks good and reasonably sturdy.

Complete freedom when using iPOD with my music system. Its been more than a month using this and i love it everytime I use it. Only one slight drawback is the range of the remote control works within a room only, although the technology used is capable to use it within anywhere in a house. But that's ok, I can live with that, and the price I paid for this, cant really complain.
