"It does what it says it will - that's what matters", Does what it says it will do - delivers 1080p signal from my Sony upscaling DVD player to the Sony "Z" series LCD.

Only reason for not rating 5 stars is that the cable connector is a little loose in both the DVD & the TV HDMI sockets - feels like it could/would pull out if the cable was tugged. This may be normal for HDMI - not sure as this is my 1st experience - and it could just as well be that Sony's HDMI sockets are a little "big". However, the cable works - not perceived signal issues (no lines or sparkles like the others mentioned in the one and two star reviews).

I'll likely be ordering another couple for DirecTV boxes if they don't come with cables....

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Same S%$#@, different smell.", I temporarily replaced an existing "Monster" HDMI cable with this one just to see if there'd be any difference. I couldn't see a bit of difference. Bottom line, Same S-"#@, different smell. Your choice, pay for the name or only pay for what you're getting. An HDMI cable that does a fine job.

"Great Cables", I use two of these cables to attach my HD DVD and Blue Ray players to my plasma TV. They work fine, especially for the price. Digital cables either work or they don't. Not like the old days when cheap analog cables could affect the quality of the signal.

"Unbeatable cable for the price.", This cable has a high quality feel. It is very flexible and connects securely to the connectors on my TV and Camcorder. The image quality is excellent with no perceptable noise to the signal from my camcorder to TV.

"Top notced cables for cheap!!", I used these 10 foot HDMI cables to run behind the wall for my Sony Bravia XBR 1080P LCD television. The picture and sound is flawless. The PS3 looks great with these chords. Movies also work great. This is definately a steal. Ten foot HDMI cables will cost u nearly $100 a piece at retail price!

"Don't overspend on HDMI cables", For HDMI digital cables...there is absolutely no need to overspend. As long as it is UL rated and able to transfer a digital signal...all is good. Monster will indicate that the consumer is paying a premium to 'future proof' evolution in cables. If that is the case...buy what you need today...wait for cable prices to come down in the future as the evolutionary cable technology becomes accepted and mainstream. Why pay 5x the price when you can buy what works...and pay again in the future IF it is necessary for your electronics to function.

These cables work just fine. Don't be fooled and scared into buying a slick marketing item.
