"i grew up in the 50s", Like i said i grew up in the 50sso this movie brings back memories to me.I have this movie on vhs so i have been thinking about getting this one in DVD.I was born in 1933 and grew up back in Ohio and my first car was a 1933 Chevrolet then a 1941 Chevrolet.And all of the music was old rock and roll and country music from Nashville.

"Mischief", We received our DVD of Mischief today. Look forward to watching later this week when we get time. Loved it since it debuted. I saw it at the show way back when. I have a taped copy I recorded off HBO about ten years ago.

I loved the soundtrack but I guess it was never released on an LP or CD. A shame as it contained a few songs I don't have in my collection.

The cover art I question. Why they chose to use the Bel Air instead of the Jonathan's Studebaker I don't know.

"Mischief, the movie", This is one of my all-time favorites...I'm a sixties generation person. I previously had this movie on VHS but, when I saw it available on Amazon in DVD Widescreen format, I purchased it immediately and am absolutely delighted that I did.

This, in my opinion, is a great, feel-good movie that anyone can, in one way or another, relate to their high school days. Except for clothing style changes by generation, this movie is relevant and enjoyable for all ages.

I thought the transfer to DVD was done very good.

If you like feel-good movies, buy it!

"Tracy's review on Mischief", I thought the product arrived in excellent condition and I believe that the movie itself is a great one.

"Hilarious.", I bought this movie randomly without even knowing what it was, and I love it. It's like an 80's American Pie and it's hilarious. And you can see popular actors now, back in the day. I would definitely recommend it.

"Dating", A cute little movie that will make you laugh. It's all about the awkwardness of dating. Seeing Kelly Preston topless did hurt either.

"Sometimes funny, but not a "sex comedy"", (3.5/5 stars) Something that distinguishes a good coming-of-age film from your average teen sex comedy is the ability of the filmmakers to convince the audience the experience of making the film was nostalgic, even therapeutic for them. Whether it is "A Christmas Story," "Cinema Paradiso," "My Life as a Dog," or "Mischief," the product seems like a memoir, a romanticized trip down memory lane. OK, so "Mischief" isn't quite the caliber of the first three; nonetheless, this little story does a good job of evoking the atmosphere of Small Town, USA in 1956. Being successful takes more than simply adding hit songs from that period of time or getting the clothing or automobile styles correct; the story needs to pull us in and get us to sympathize with some of the characters, and this film succeeds in this. The actors all do a fine job in creating this sincere tale of an average teen, Jonathan (played by Doug McKeon), who reluctantly accepts help from the cool new greaser, Gene (Chris Nash), in getting his dream girl, Marilyn (Kelly Preston). Eventually Jonathan realizes friendship means more to him than his fantasies, which would have been better left unfulfilled. Look for Terry O'Quinn, who currently plays John Locke on "Lost," in a brief role as Gene's father. Once again, Anchor Bay has performed a great service by creating a very clean widescreen transfer of a film that otherwise might not have seen the light of day. Really, why didn't Fox DVD release this 20th Century Fox film itself?

"Mischief", This is a funny "comming of age" film. Set in the mid '50s, it has action,
comedy, romance, and a great soundtrack of "oldies". Though it was our time,(me and Pam), it should appeal to all generations.

"Coming of age movie has charm", A slice of the 50's filmed in Nelsonville, Ohio, which hadn't changed much when I went to college there in the mid-70's but has changed a lot since. Kelly Preston has a beautiful (and funny) nude scene which will make you reach for the remote.

"Excellent Movie", Well I didn't expect too much but in one word, outstanding! Chris Nash makes this movie and I can't believe he never went on to do much better things in his movie career. Kelly Preston is hot and the whole plot roles together very well. In fact, one will find themselves becoming emitionally attached to the main characters and the ending wrapes up very nicely a good storyline. Although I never lived in the 50's, 60's, or 70's, the director really puts the audience there.

great film, worth the watch.
