"Incredible sound out of something so portable", I was honestly expecting lower end sound out of the iMmini. When my wife opened it and turned it on, neither of us could believe the quality. Excellent speakers lacking only the deepest of bass and considering the portability, very worth the money.

It takes AAA batteries (3 if i remember right) and has a wall plug as well. You can leave the batteries in while it's plugged in (as it appears to sense if it has AC power) and when plugged into the wall it'll even charge your iPod.

It does have a non-iPod input (standard 1/8th" headphone jack) and comes with a very short (about 4" or so) cable for other MP3 players (or any other device that has a 1/8th" out.

"Just right & priced right", I have purchased three of these over the past year. For the money, this compact portable speaker system is great. My wife uses one for her IPOD Nano in the kitchen and the other two are used as supplemental speakers for two laptop computers we own. In both roles, these speaker work great. They won't blow you away but for an average size room, they do fill the room with sound nicely. These speakers can't compare with offerings from BOSE costing 10 to 15 times more but if you keep your expectations in check you won't be disappointed.

"Very Disappointed - NOT AS PICTURED", We own the Altec Lansing inMotion and wanted
another one for our Florida Condo. What we received
is NOT the same. It is smaller and does not fold up.
The one sent does not fit the regular iPod just the Nano.

"Great sound for a low price", I bought this mini portable audio system for my desk at work because it looked small and light. When I actually received it I was surprised at how small it really is and a little skeptical, but I am very happy with it. It sounds really good with the volume high or really low. I would recommend this product to anyone; it is a very good buy. The price is excellent also.

"very good for the size", It doesn't get loud. It won't fill a big room with blasting sound. If that's what you want, get a boombox.

It's small and flat, easy to carry.
The sound quality is excellent, good definition, crisp high-end, flat sound curve. It's unbelievable that there is bass coming out from speakers of this size.
The sound volume is ideal for small rooms, intimate picnic, background muzak at a small gathering.

It has an extra input jack to plug a non-iPod source - very convenient.

For the price I payed, I cannot wish for more.

"Works great on my mp3 player and phone", I just got this and it works great with my sandisk sansa c140 1gb mp3 player and my samsung blackjack phone. Now I can take my music whereever I go! Sells pretty cheap at the buy website especially after GCO.

"Very good for the money", I also was very skeptical when I bought this speaker, but I have been pleased with it. I wanted something small and light enough to fit in a backpack, but that would allow me to listen to music in a hotel room or a campsite. It has been perfect for this purpose, and it takes up about as much room as a paperback book. It does not provide the quality sound that speakers 4 times the price do, but it is great for the price. Since it can also act as a charger when plugged in, it saves you from buying or carrying that item as well. It also can be powered by 4 AA batteries. It lasts about 16-20 hours on my rechargable batteries.

"Works well with ipod nano", I gave this as a gift to my niece. I helped her set the ipod up and showed her how to use the speakers. Everything worked well and she loved it. Great for the price.

"Outstanding for the job it was designed to fill.", If you want a compact, easy to use, great sounding system, this one is perfect. At the price of $20, you will definitely be satisfied. I use it indoors at work and the sound is awesome, with deep bass and crisp highs. There is never a need to raise the volume over 50% while I am indoors. I have used it once or twice outside and had to put the volume to the max. But even at this volume it sounded great.
