"pillow comfort", I bought this for use by my mother when sitting in her wheelchair. The pillow is comfortable. There is some difficulty with keeping it in place. Perhaps a velcro attachment will solve that problem.

"lifesaver for traveling", I get some nasty neck pain when I'm traveling, so I bought this to use on flights and in the room we were staying. It saved a lot of room in my bag compared with bringing my own pillow. I thought it would be much more firm, and was pleasantly surprised it is a bit squishy but just firm enough for me. I didn't have any neck pain the whole trip, and didn't have any trouble getting to sleep either. The only faults are it's not comfortable to sleep on if you're a side sleeper, and it doesn't seem like the cover is easy to clean. (there's a small zipped area where you can pull the filling out, but I'm too nervous I won't get it back in again the right way.) All in all, I really like this pillow.

"Does what it should", A good pillow to keep your neck aligned properly while resting. My wife used these to sleep with all the time, I guess it depends on what you get used to.

Handy shape, good for napping, traveling, and even a good nights sleep if your so inclined.


"Great for your neck! Take it traveling too!", I had one of these pillows for about 5 years. After frequent washings it became less firm so I bought two more. I sleep with the pillow cradled under my neck. It is great for when you sleep on your back or side. It helps ease the pain that I have due to arthritis. Recently I offered my adult daughter one of the new pillows I bought; she loves it!

I've also taken a Dogbone Pillow on a trip to Ireland. The pillow offered me more confort on the long flight.

"awesome sleep solution for neck pain!", I have chronic neck pain due to the curvature of my spine at the neck. Rather than my neck curving back slightly it curves almost forward. Long ago my chiropractor suggested rolling a thick towel and placing it under my neck for at least half an hour a day. I tried but the pain was almost unbearable, more so than my normal neck pain.

Several months later I stumbled across a dogbone neckbone pillow in Walmart. I was hesitant to try it for fear I would have the same pain that I had with the rolled towel but decided to give it a go. That pillow was the best investment ever for my pain! It gave my neck just the support I needed in order to relieve the pressure that my condition causes and allow my muscles to relax. I woke up feeling refreshed and stopped having the severe headaches that my neck pain was causing. I used that pillow for over 3 years before it wore out to the point of being thread-bare. Unfortunately I never replaced it and over the last 6 years my neck pain has become increasingly more severe again.

I am tired of waking up with sore neck muscles and severe headaches. I am ordering myself another dogbone TODAY! I can't believe I never looked on Amazon for them before!

"Great pillow and price!", This pillow was bought as a replacement for one my wife used quite a bit. She loves it and it helps with her back problems.



"Versatile little pillow", I bought these on a buy 3 get 1 free offer. I planned to keep a couple for road trips and maybe give the other two away, but they are so cute that I kept them all and have them stashed all over the house. The paisley turquoise is the prettiest, I think, and looks great in our bedroom. I use them when laying on my side to read, watching TV in the guest room, or for extra support when napping or sleeping.

"Versatile Pillow!", This is a great little pillow and can be used lots of ways. In a bed, traveling on a plane - on the couch as a lumbar support. It is a rather dense foam and does not completely compress - even with a larger body. Quite portable, as well, I'm getting more!

"Dog bone pillow for big people only", I was really looking forward to using this pillow since I have a tendency to turn my head to the sides when I sleep and I thought this pillow would stop that and help keep the muscles of my neck flexible. A friend of mine had one bought at CVS that was perfect.
Well, no luck, I am a small woman (5'4") and the pillow is too high for me, instead of my neck being cradled by the pillow, it's just elevated and I can't stay on it more than 5 minutes. It will stretch the muscles of your neck nicely though.
It's a good idea, but it needs sizes.
