"Great Game! A LOT Better Than The First! Worth The Money!"
This is a great game. Fans of the first NFL Street will love this game. There are so many new game modes and features and the online play is a lot of fun (dial-up or broadband/dsl) (Online play works surprisingly well on dial-up for PS2).
The game modes include:

Own the City (You create a guy and gain team members by playing pick up games. If you beat this mode, you can use your guy in NFL Challenge and in Madden 2006).

NFL Challenge (This is like how the first game was. You have 150 days to make your team the best it can be by getting ability points from completing challenges. You can also add real NFL players on your team. You can use your created team online to battle other peoples online teams. Also, I think you earn points to make your players better if you win online).

NFL Gauntlet (You pick a NFL team and battle all the other NFL teams. I'm sure you unlock things as you go through each team).

Pickup Game (This is the old game where you pick players from NFL teams and have an exhibition match with the CPU or with some friends).

Street Events (These are mini games which you can play with the CPU or with friends. Some include include:

Crush the Carrier [You grab the ball and get as much points as you can get until you get tackled and the ball goes up for grabs. Whoever has the most points at the end of time limit wins]

A "500" type game [CPUs throw passes awhile a group of people try to catch the balls. Whoever has the most points at the end of the time limit wins].

Open Field Showdown [You go one-on-one against a CPU or player in a field from like the 20 or 25 yard line. You try to fake-out your opponent and score a touchdown].

There are also many other mini games available but they are like playing a normal pickup game.

New to this game is wall jumps. You can go by the wall and do a wall jump, wall juke, wall pass, or wall catch to get rid of the defense and get those extra yards. Also if you do a wall move on a poster, you get extra points and your gamebreaker meter (the ability to get your guy powered up to make a huge play) will fill up by about a third.

This game has endless possibilities. You can create a guy, create a team, play a lot of people online, play against a friend or against friends, and a lot more. This football game is a break from traditional football games like Madden 2005. Madden is still a great game but its cool in this game because you can jump off the walls and just break free from all the rules and slow-paced action of traditional football games (Madden 2005, ESPN 2K5). This game reminds me a lot of the Blitz series. I would say this is the best football game out there now. And if it was between NFL Street 2 and NBA Street V3, I would say this game. This is probably one of the top ten games out there.

Also, this game has a great soundtrack featuring a lot of rap/hip-hop and punk/rock/alternative. This is not one boring song on the soundtrack and since there are a lot of songs, it doesn't get repetitive.

"dis game is da best game eva"
i love this game!!!!!!!!!!! i dont own it yet but when i rent i play it 247. Its so cool. not only do you play football in ghettos but in the game mode called Own The City, you get to create a guy and make him look apap (as pimped as possible) after creating your guy, you start playing pickup games. the more pickup games you win, the more players you can add for your team. the more pickup games you win, the more money you get. if you get money, you can buy even more pimpin clothes and upgrade your player so hes the best guy there is. When you play, you can run up walls, jump like ten feet high and when you get a gamebreaker2 you can intercept passes cause fumbles, or jump real high and catch passes, or run the ball like your being chased by lions. i cant wait till my birtday cuz im gettin it man. this game is past the pimped mark!

"the best games in the world"
this game is nearly the best game i have ever played the graphics are exellant and the new game modes are also good

"Hours of fun"
This game is best sports game i ever played, it is really fun, especially the street modes like kill the passer, it is really fun playing street modes with 3 players, i like the insane wall moves and you can make warren sapp a QB, how sick is that, the soundtrack is so cool like the one song called pray for me, just one of the best sports games ever.

What our customer's say!

"defence?", let me say ive spent at least 100 hours on nfl street one and maybe 15 hours on nfl street 2. 2 things that make this game very bad the defence sucks in this game, yes i know how to use the defence but it takes a long time to force tons of fumbles and interction are luck for the most part. The rosters are like 3 years old and you cant trade players to make your team somewhat updated. This game is good but if your going to play online you better step up your game, because it doesnt matter how good you are offline. They need to make a nfl 3 with updated rosters you can load off the online service.

"Pretty good", The game is great for a street ball game. But I'm used to games like Blitz. I was kinda disappointed that you can tackle anyone once a play is over...unneccessary roughness is one of the best parts of playing football.

"NFL Street 2 Rocks!", This is a very fun game. Not really meant to be taken seriously.
w/ a little bit of NFL Blitz and a little bit of Madden thrown together, fans of the first NFL Street will love this title. My 8 year old son and I play this game alot and he really enjoys it. He likes it a bit more than Madden right now because it holds his interest a little more. There's a lot of trash talk and he gets off on that. All in all it's a good, fun game that kids and the big guys can enjoy. Probably a great game to play when a bunch of buddies are sitting around drinking and having a football night. Enjoy this title guys...

"For Kids or Not?", NFL blitz is alive and well on the PSP. Only this time it is called NFL Street 2, and it is a little fancier. First the ugly: this game takes 15 hours to load each game. Not really, but that is what it feels like when you just want to play a quick game. The other ugly thing is that it seems a bit difficult to remember what all of the buttons do. So, though it is fun to do a crazy pitch to the running back or a behind the back throw to a receiver 50 yards away, you can never remember that you now have to control the running back or the receiver with a whole new set of controls. This is seen as a positive thing by many that believe the more complex the game, the more shelf life it will have in a collection. Now, the ugly said, this game is fun enough to last forever in your game collection. Does football ever get old? Then a game that is football on steroids done pretty darn well should not either. Finally, the mini-games are worth mentioning with games of smear the queer and 500 that are just loads of fun. There are a couple of others, but the two mentioned are the only games worth much.

Bottom Line: Is it fun? Get this fun football game. Will I keep it? I plan on keeping it as long as I have a PSP. Is it for kids? Too many buttons.

"Good game, good amount of flaws", First of all, this is a pretty good game. It's definaly not a simulation football game though. It also has, in my oinion. a few too many flaws. Flaw #1- you can't create your own team. Flaw #2- you can't max out your created charactor's stats. Flaw #3- get's old after you beat "own the city". Those are the big flaws i see in the game. To sumerize, it's not worth $50. Buy it used or rent it.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Prepare to learn a whole new meaning to "aerial assault"", When EA Sports' BIG division released NFL Street as the football version of its hit NBA Street many gamers were impressed with how the game took street football to a new level of fun with style moves, sick dives and trash-talking that at times had you laughing too hard for your own good. The only problem with NFL Street was that at times you were pretty much eating the wall with your face whenever your opponent tackled you and you had no way to dodge it.

Well, that little problem has been thankfully resolved (to a point) in the long-awaited NFL Street 2. And as the old adage goes, "The more things change the more they stay the same". NFL Street 2 adds a few new surprises to the mix of 7-on-7 street ball while keeping a few things relatively untouched. As the promos say the game is played in the streets but now will be won in the air.

One of the new things added to Street 2 is the Wall moves. Now you can control your chosen player to run up the wall to either catch a ball, evade tacklers, or even throw some insane passes throughout the game that help you build up your team's game power meter.
Speaking of the meter, the GameBreaker has now been changed to become the GameBreaker 2 (the NFL version of NBA Street, Vol 2's Double GameBreaker). If and when the GB2 is activated it begins a sick looking play series that, depending on whether you are on offense or defense, wil make you harder to hit, be a harder hitter and cause major fumbles, or move fast as you carry the ball across the goalline.

Several new modes are added to NFL Street 2, including Crush the Carrier (basically a game of keepaway in which you score points for carrying the ball), Quick Strike (Score before your opponents do, then prevent them from scoring), 2 Minute Showdown (Score more touchdowns than your opponent within 2:00), Jump Ball (Catch passes being thrown to you and 2 other receivers to score points) and last but not least Own the City.

Own the City is the game's Story Mode in which you create a player then charge through the 5 sections of the city and complete the challenges in each section to build up the ultimate player to challenge in the NFL Challenge mode of the game. And of course for those that may have gotten the ability to do so over the holidays the game does have an Online play mode.

Now although this game had a street date (no pun intended) of Christmas Eve 2004, it came out with plenty of time to be the first of 3 Street games to be released in 2005 (NBA Street, Vol. 3 and FIFA Street being the other two). Needless to say if these game can rule the streets like the first 2 NBA Street games and now the 2 NFL Street games can, then EA Sports BIG can truly say that they run the Streets... this is until they decide to FINALLY make an NHL Street...now THAT would rule...

"Great Game but same as last years", NFL Street 2 is a very well made game but it is the same as last years in some ways.

The New modes include
Street Events- kill the carrier, jump ball, 2 on 2, 2 minuete drill and a couple of others.

Own the City- U create a player and try to recruit guys for ur team.

Online Mode- There was online mode last year but this year the online mode is twice as good.

The graphics are amazing and the player faces look so real it is almost scary.

If you didnt get NFL Street 1, I suggest this game. It is a decent upgrade but just not enough for ur 50 Dollars.

I regret buying this game because I had NFL Street 1.

"Not much better than NFL Street 1.", If you already have the first NFL Street, I see no reason to upgrade unless you like jumping off walls. It's still lacking on play selection (I think it's 99% the same as the 1st one). I was hoping for more smak talk, but it's EXACTLY the same. Same styles etc. Same graphics; pretty much the same exact game. I see no reason why to spend $50 more for this if you already have the 1st one.
If you don't have the NFL strrt 1, pick this up, cuz it is a blast!

"COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL", Never boring
For all the fun you're gonna have
Lack of boring times

NFL Street 2 is fun and it has Xzibit in it(Automatic giveaway)
