"Works fairly well", This compact system with built in storage for the cleaning spray is convienient to store and use. Tough dirt should be cleaned by spraying the cleaner onto a tissue and wiping prior to inserting into the Disc Cleaner. The unit will continue to run until the rotating disks is manually removed.

"Nice gadget", Battery-powered, easy to use. You spray the disc with fluid that comes with the unit, then insert the disc into slot and the machine spins the disc against a cleaning cloth. When you feel the disc has had enough (not more than 10 seconds), you pull the disc out and it's done. The unit has rubber feet so you can sit it on top of your TV or other surface and it won't slide off.

"Spreads dirt out but does not actually remove it.",
Not purchased from Amazon, but the 2nd of my dud purchases at Fry's electronics. The "cleaner" simply spins the disc while a "cushion" of cleaning material pushes down on the surface and attempts to remove dirt and smudges.
I tested this item on a moderately dirty DVD and watched in amazement as it made perfect rings of grime evenly around the DVD. I applied 2 more doses of the cleaning fluid and more of the same. A useless gimmick rather than a real cleaning tool.

Prior to dropping and breaking it I'd been using the "CD Stealth" cleaner, which works in a radial fashion, and had been excellent for almost 4 years.

This doody is going back to Fry's and I will be getting the more expensive but proven CD Stealth again.


"Works Well!", I find this works well for cleaning CDs, DVD, and game discs. If discs are scratched, you need a repair system. I have also used the Skip Dr. repair system with good success. Sometimes you need to run the disc through more than once, but the thing works!!

"Nice...but,", Digital Innovations 60101 Motorized Disc Cleaner works well. I feel it could be improved by the addition of a "START/STOP" button. As it is sold now you end up getting finger prints on your disc trying to catch the spinning disc after it has been cleaned.

"Clean discs at last!", This cleaner is a cleaning machine. It does what it's designed to do. I clean my discs from Netflix before I watch them & never have a problem. This thing works great! Highly recommended.

"Cleans DVDs well", Easy to use...I cleaned over 100 DVDs the first night while watching a movie. Discs came out shiny. Won't fix scratches, but product is not intended to do anything other than clean.

"Cleans Dirty Disks", Overall I am pleased with this product. It doesn't actually remove scratches or anything miraculous like that but definately does a good job of cleaning the disc surface. It has made several disks stop skipping on me and eliminates any worries I have of a dirty disk causing damage to the reader eye. It's also definately a safer option then just wiping a disc on your shirt. It does make quite a loud noise when it is cranking away just fyi for the noise sensitive types. Says right on the bottle of spray it is isopropyl alcohol so refills are cheap and easy. Ninety ninety cents at your local drug store would be about nearly a life time supply.
