Others say...
"kingston cf/4gb" I read some reviews that stated that they had problems with this card. I purchased the card, formatted it and it works great in my Canon 30 D. I shoot RAW and i get over 400 images. Not bad. Great price
"Good all around card" CF cards from many of the major card manufactures all work fine of me. I bought this particular card because it was available for Prime shipping and I needed it fast.
"excellent CF card" I have two CF cards from Kingston, both from the ElitePro line-up. I was happy with the first one and bought this 4GB card for that reason. I haven't been concerned with the 45X speed, it seems to keep up well with my Canon Rebel XT. It might be nice to have a faster card for action shots, but then again, for the price, you can't touch the value of this card.
"Not an accessory, an investment" Holy bat stuffins Bat Man! Eighty-five million pictures, on one card. That's like eight hundred fifty-five thousand rolls of 35mm film! Okay, maybe I exagerated a bit, but you get the point. I had a nice little Olympus with the stock card. I'd use it to take pictures of my jobs, but found myself limited to around twenty photos, so I had to plan my shots and download every day. No more. I can shoot photos all week with this card (all run around 4megs each) and still barely dent the card's capacity. This will hold around four hundred high quality photos taken using my 8megapix toy. Life has changed, obviously, for the better. To put it in perspective, not having this card in my camera would be a little like putting a five and quarter inch blade on my commercial table saw.
"It could be King" I like having my Kingston 4gb in my D200 as it gives me a hell of a lot more photos to take than my 1gb did at the best quality. I have not had any problems with it although I have heard there is sometimes writting problems with Kingston cards but for the money that i guess is a risk i am willing to take. For the price though it has shown to be above and beyond in its performance (as I compare it to my 1gb Lexar 80x) If I had the money I would have bought the best kind in my mind but my friend who uses only kingston suggested that I try one as they are well priced for their capacities. So I did and I have not had any problems yet and if need be I might buy another one of these cards in the future.

What our customer's say!
"received on time", I bought this for a canon rebel, it is not as fast as I would like, but I am not sure if this issue comes from the camera, if you buy for a canon rebel, maybe you need to look for another fastest memory ..
"wrong card ", Well I would love to give this a 5 star review but they sent me the wrong card . A cheeper one {charged me for the better one} and not a elitepro.Hope the replacement comes soon to bad I will not have it for the 4TH of july partys.....
"Cheap = bad", I thought paying $52.00 for a 4GB CF card was a great deal. Until I started using it. I already own about 10 CF cards and 8 SD cards of varying read/write speeds and GB's. All of them are either Lexar or SanDisk cards and all of them work great. So I figured I would take a chance on this Kingston card. It turns out that the cute little chameleon graphic on the card is about the only thing this card has to offer. I had several images that were distorted and basically garbage. I would say that out of every 100 pictures at least 20 of the images were distorted and useless. I wouldn't use this card again if it were free.
"Good memory card for less than $50", This review is coming from a novice SLR user. I have the Canon Rebel XT and use the Kingston 4GB flash card. It was a great priced item (I bought it when it was $39.99) and the quality of pictures it stores (S, M, or L) are excellent. That, and regardless of the resolution setting, I get almost unlimited photos(at it's highest resolution I still get over 799 images on the card). I've only had one or two issues with corrupted or lost images. However, I've taken over 700 photos over the past month. If you look at it this way, I've taken around 698/700 which is 99.7% success rating... not too shabby. For a beginner in digital SLR photography, this is a great card to have.
"very satisfied", this was attractively priced and has worked wonderfully so far in my new camera. no problems. using it in a Canon EOS Rebel XTi.

Read this reviews before You buy...
"Perfect memory for my Canon XTi", Very fast access, which is very important I think since sometimes the scene will not wait for you. 4G capacity almost enough for one day shooting by taking about 400 raw images for my XTi.
"Works great", I am using the CF card in a mictrotek digital recorder. Works just great!
"Compact Flash Card an excellent buy", I purchased this flash card to take on vacation so that I would have enough room for all of the pictures I planned to take. I had no problems at all with the card, with the images it produced, or any transfers. I used the card in a Nikon 8800, and now use it as my primary memory. I recommend this card to anyone for its high quality, and low price. It is a good value.
"works perfectly with my pdas, read this before you buy", I bought this card from Dell I worried once because some complain it don't work then I learned the card supports FAT32 ONLY, then I did a test on my pda (HP HX2415), format the existing card to FAT32, found the pda supports, and bought I found the card works perfectly with my pdas (HP HX2415 and Dell Axim X50v), no problem so far MUST READ: before buying this 4GB card, you need to do a file system compatibility test you need to save the card's content onto host, then format the card to FAT32 format, then put the card into the device if the device can use the card right away without formatting, you'll be file
"BEWARE of Kingston REBATES!", Beware of KINGSTON rebates!
Of course, I hope your experience would differ, if you were to buy Kingston product(s), but mine was terrible.
I bought a Kingston CompactFlash card that offered a $50 mail-in rebate. I promptly (as in, the day AFTER I received the item delivery) went to photocopy my rebate certificate and UPC code and sales receipt; then sent it all on its merry way. Yes, I was well within the rebate period, both for the purchase AND for the postmark date. My purchase was a valid retailer (think HUGE online e-tailer).
The rebate REQUIRED sending THE ENTIRE ORIGINAL UPC label, which was like the entire outside package for my CF card, about the size of 1 ½ business cards when flattened. No problem.
About TWO MONTHS later, I get a letter saying "your rebate request was denied because you failed to furnish the appropriate ORIGINAL UPC code as required by the rebate offer."
Well, now WHAT? I can't RE-SEND the original (it was already in their possession). I called, and they insisted on repeating what the letter said. I re-sent my PHOTOCOPIES and they said a photocopy is invalid proof of purchase.
After another 6 weeks of pursuing this, I figured this is their scam. They simply wouldn't honor the rebate. And without the ORIGINAL UPC in my possession, I couldn't really submit to their requirements.
If you're looking for a RAM upgrade, I'd suggest you look at a quality company like OCZ (the BEST!), or Patriot, Geil, or Corsair. If you're looking for a value Flash Memory Card, I might suggest SanDisk.
For one, Kingston does NOT make the best products, they are VALUE-driven products.
Two, there are competitors to Kingston with just as good or better value-to-performance ratios at the same prices.
Three, Kingston will not stand behind their customer as I have experienced.
I urge you to, please, be cautious of Kingston and their rebate scams.
