"Excellent"
These are a steal for the price. I ordered more than 20 to store all our CDs in -- they were shipped very quickly and included some free goodies, I assume because I ordered so many. Thanks!

"Underwhelmed"
CD case holder fails because it is large enough to hold so many CD's that it gets too heavy! One hand is barely large enough to hold it and the weight is too great for even a relatively well-conditioned man. Another objection is that it needs a heavy elastic strap around it to ensure that the loose-fitting lid doesn't come off and allow its contents to spill out if it is tipped too far (because its heavy weight causes one to lose his grip!).

"Just the solution for a specific need"
This is one of the best solutions for an ongoing problem...what to do with all of those CDs that one collects over the years. I am very particular about how I store my disk collection. I have tried those silly stands that they slide into, and those are a nightmare. I have tried boxes meant for other things, and though they keep the disks out of the light (I suspect that strong light will kill disks over time) they did not fit right, and it is hard to get consistently sized boxes.

These products however, were designed only to store CDs in their jewel cases and nothing else. They are well made for the price and I have no complaints. The fiber used in their manufacture is acid free (for stability and preservation of their contents).

I have over four thousand disks in jewel cases, and these boxes are just what the doctor ordered. I have a set of shelves that the boxes fit perfectly on and will use this as my storage solution for my disks from now on. This product serves my inner librarian!

Buy these if you have a lot of CDs!

"Great Purchase for the Price"
I read many unhappy reviews about these storage boxes and was reluctant to purchase. Due to the price, I decided to give them a try anyway. Mine were not a tight fit for CD's as some said. I wanted to store many CDs in their original cases and they fit great! These were easy to put together. The lid does not go all the say down as some others mentioned and actually sits on the top of the CD cases, but I am fine with that issue. I would not hesitate to recommend these cases to anyone who is looking to store old CDs!

"Great for the price"
I read alot of the reviews here before ordering so I was expecting some trouble with assembling it and fitting my cds inside it. To my surprise, it snapped together easily. That was it. No problems at all. Yes the top is alittle big but it is suppose to be so that you can stack them. I did use the file folders that were made by the same manufacturer and everything fit fine. Jewel cases are not ment to be used with these type of boxes. so that could be the other reviewers problem. For the price, it was much better than I expected. Sometimes it best to just buy it regardless of the reviews. I will definately buy more.

"CD Storage box", I was very impressed with the quality of the boxes. They were a unique design. I loved that they snapped together. The boxes were sturdy.

"works like a charm", I was concerned because a few people claimed these boxes were too tight to fit CDs in cases. I took a chance and bought a bunch of them anyway for a couple of hundred CDs. Didn't have any problems. They look sharp, not that it matters since the boxes are going under the bed, and everything fit fine (except one oddly sized CD case).

Only reason I don't give it 5 stars - there is a holder for a card to label each box but they don't give you any labels. A little lame.

Anyway, they are cheap and work/look fine.

"Great Storage Solution for CD's!", Our CD collection was such a mess. We had them all over the place. We would think we had a certain CD, then couldn't locate it! So, subsequently we have a few duplicates. These boxes are an inexpensive, effective way to store your CD's. They snap together quickly, and are quite sturdy. Also they have a place on the front to insert a label, so you can catalogue your collection either alphabetically or by genre, and then find anything quickly. We now have everything in one place.

"Depends on What You Get", When they actually send the right product, the box is great. The first two I received were not the item pictured and were extremely difficult to get together and did not fit the CD file folders recommended with the purchase. However, I decided I needed another one anyway and bought a third from the same company. This time, I actually received the correct box and it is fantastic. The file folders fit perfectly and assembly is much easier and the snaps actually work and align. I just ordered three more from Staples, hoping they will definitely send the correct product and not the cheap version.

"Defective and mishapen", First of all, the image is not representative because the snaps are in the inside of the box, not the outside as depicted. And there are not two snaps on each edge, but only one--thus 4 snaps for the entire box.
After visiting the IdeaStream website and viewing their Snap-n-Store products, it is clear that these are either counterfeit or an outdated or discontinued model since their models are all like the image and not like the items received.

Second, 3 out of the 5 boxes I ordered were DEFECTIVE. Two of them snapped together with little or no effort. The other 3 do not snap despite herculean efforts mostly because they do not line up at all. On one of the 3 defective boxes, the only one end that snaps together is left with an opening which is almost a half-inch narrower than the width of a CD, thus impossible to use for CD storage as purposed since it is incorrectly cut.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Good, but not perfect...", These are decent for cheap CD/DVD storage especially if you use slim jewel cases or paper sleeves. Overall, the quality is reasonable although we had some difficulty snapping a few of the sides in place. They look good from a few feet away and you probably wouldn't guess it was a cardboard box unless you handled it. I didn't really expect much more for the price.

"great product for price", These cd boxes are great and so is the company. They arrived 2 days after I placed the order, I snapped them together, created labels, and have finally organized all my cds, which were in the cellar for over a year. The boxes look good and I like how the title edge of the cd is at the top, so you don't have to flip through to read the front. The lid rests on top but you can still stack them. I liked them so much, I am looking for the DVD boxes too. You can't beat it for this price.

"Perfect For My Music CD Storage Needs", All of my music CDs have been ripped and stored on my PC, and then filed away in these storage boxes. The depth of this box is perfect for the deep cabinet I use for storing media, and allows me to utilize the cabinet space efficiently while still being able to locate specific discs. I really like that you can stack the boxes and ultilize vertical shelf space as well. The construction quality is decent, but not sturdy enough for portable use.

"Great storage", This is a very good way to organize and store your CDs and DVDs and to
access them. I've grouped them by types: family photos, trips, how-to CDs, etc. Works great.


"Look is good--fit is bad", I like the look of this product, however, the lid doesn't fit snug and it makes it look a bit sloppy and it isn't very secure for moving around.
