Others say...
"Logitech Controller" I bought one of these to try it out, and I loved it so much. No driver needed, and it worked well.
Then I bought one for my girlfriend, one for my brother, and another for myself (for multiplayer games). For some reason, two of them just stopped working. I don't know what happened.
"Beware of bugs" i bought this controller to make gaming more fun, and was disappointed for two reasons. 1. the "Blaster" or "Blow Stuff Up" type games i like really don't operate well with this controller. i should have purchased a Joystick, or a Gamepad. Lesson learned. 2. THIS IS IMPORTANT: I BELIEVE THAT THIS GAMEPAD INFECTED MY COMPUTER. about a week or so after i plugged it in, my computer became noticeably SLOWER. i didn't know why, and it bothered me. i have two programs to protect my computer with no problems. then i heard a podcast interview of a government guy about Cyber Security. he noted an investigation into cheap digital picture frames made in China and sold all over this country. it seems that these picture frames, which rotated photos uploaded from your computer, were infected, no were actually MANUFACTURED, with a secret program which "took over" your computer and made it do things you never wanted them to do. like attack web-servers, or hack sensitive sites here or anywhere around the world. your computer becomes a "ZOMBIE", working in concert with thousands of other "zombie computers" to do malicious things. a slower computer was one of the warning signs. i had never heard of that, but it made sense. i removed the controller from my computer and will never use it again. i used my Windows Vista System Restore and haven't had any problems since. here's what i advise: beware any cheap gadgets made in china. think twice before you plug it in to your computer. i know china makes everything now, but if its a NEW product, and it hasn't been on the market long enough that i hasn't been thoroughly tested by others, and if its so cheap that its hard to see how anyone is making a good profit on it, except if the product has its own HIDDEN agenda, I WOULD STAY AWAY!!!
"Does what it is supposed to do.. " Plug it in - Win XP installed without a flaw - little configuration in ZSNES - and away we go.
"Good for basic game" Pro: good price, satisfy basic gamer Con: no joystick
I have this gamepad for a while. It is ok for most of the basic (old) game, but then I now feel like to have a joystick, especially when playing for a few hours.
"Performs better than it looks" Honestly when I first put this on my wishlist for my birthday, I said to myself "I hope this doesn't break in a week." And when I got it on my birthday, I took one upclose look at it and said to myself "I bet this IS going to break in a week." It LOOKS really cheap. But in this case, appearances can be deceiving.
I've used it for three weeks now almost every day and so far, not a problem in the world. Performs excellently. I even dropped it a couple times, and luckily, nothing got broken. My bro has the version of this that has the dual shock on it. His seems to have some issues on some stuff. I say, when you're going to go with something cheap, KEEP IT SIMPLE.
That's what this is. Simple. And it performs great.

What our customer's say!
"Great for the money!", I paid $10 US for this and I must say for being plug'n'play and having eight buttons you can't beat it. I use this for traveling with my laptop to fill those down times waiting for a plane and this gives me everything I need and more.
Are there better gamepads available, well certainly but you won't find them at the price this goes for. Logitech FTW!
"useless", This item is useless. It isn't compatible with most the games I have and doesn't work the way a controller should work. Often, some of the buttons can't be assigned an action and since most games require duel joysticks, you can't never look around with this controller. AHHHH!!!
"Good for the price", Good value for money. Had no issues (so far) with the keypad. Primarily used it for FIFA.
It's made of plastic and so looks a bit cheap but for $10 u cant expect anythin more. All in all great value for money
"Works great, excellent value!", I've had this controller for a few months and I am very satisfied with it. I use it to play emulated Sega Genesis, NES, and SNES games on my Macbook Pro and I have had no problems so far. The controller feels sturdy and very comfortable in my hands. Highly recommended.
"Does not work with GameTap", Not Active X apparently, so it's not "that simple" as the marketing copy claims. I'll have to find another use for it.

"Exactly what it claims to be", I plugged this puppy in to a USB port and started playing. It's cheap, it gets the job done.
I'm sure there's lots of controllers with a lot more options; I just wanted a gamepad that worked without spending a lot of dough. I got exactly that, and I'm quite pleased.
"Great Value!", I bought 2 of these for my children to play Lego Racer and Pac-Man games. I was a little concerned that the price may indicate quality but those concerns were gone as I watched them play. Windows XP and all of their many games [ :-) ] picked up the devices right away and my children are very happy. Highly recommended.
"Possibly the best", Possibly the best controller for the PC, especially for the price. It works with all my games, and its got a level of precission needed for those games that need it that surpasses any other controller.
"They Break after about a year", After about a year of using it, the d-pad starts to stick and break. This renders the controller useless. If you need something cheap for emulator play, then get this; but if you want to use it for fighting games, get something sturdier.
"Inexpensive but cheap.", First the controller came in molded plastic packaging that was a pain to open. The cheap plastic controller got nicked in a few places as I struggled to open the packaging.
When I opened it, the controller installed painlessly on my Vista machine, which was a relief as Vista seems to enjoy fighting peripherals now and then.
There was one button that acts flaky (button 6) but otherwise all the buttons work and it does the job. I use it to play Madden 2008 and it does the job.
Overall, it's ten dollars and if you are on a tight budget, it's a good controller for the price. If you can afford better, I would recommend getting better, but this is worth the mere ten bucks you pay for it.
