"Great Web Cam", This may not be one of the best Web Cams available, but for the price it is a very good camera. Quality is great. If you have a high speed connection then you will enjoy using this camera. I have this one and I also upgraded and purchased the Creative Notebook Pro.

"Poor image quality, poor design", I know, this is a cheaper camera. We're all trying to save these days. Still... this one is really bad.

The design: cheapy. Sorry, I couldn't come up with another word for it.

When my daughter went up to adjust it on the laptop, the base broke like it was made of sugar.
The video quality is really poor - both pixelized and choppy. So you basically can't use it other than as a talking head, and even then, IF you're not moving your head, your mouth, or breathing, then you *may* get a recognizable image...

For this price range, it's not the worse, but frankly, it's not doing very much for you. For $39.99, you can get an IPEVO POV webcam, that'll have much higher resolution, better frames per seconds (30fps, standard on all chat services), solid design so you aren't afraid it'll fall apart within 1 week, and you can hand it off to your kids to show grandma the dog without fearing for your $30...

Overall, very disappointing, even for that price.

"sucks", poor image quality. cant see anything unless it is daylight, or you have ten lights on. its stand is akward and doesnt really fit on anything, and the cord is a little too short.

"VF0050 Vista driver ! It works", I was also about to give up trying to find a Vista driver for this great webcam, when I finally tried out the default Xp driver from the creative website.
After installing the driver, the last screen got stuck. I then logged out, and after logon, plugged the Webcam just to check, and ... it detected it correctly!

Works with MSN and Skype as it did running Xp !



"Not Vista Compatible", I really liked this webcam when I had XP on my desktop. Sadly, Creative has decided not to develop drivers to enable Vista compatibility, and believe me, this camera wont run on Vista. Too bad they decided to go the route of forcing people to buy a new camera (hopefully theirs). I wont be one of them.

"Great webcam", My family (in Chicago) and I (in NYC) use this often. It works great with AIM 6.0. The microphone is a bit of a hassle, but works just fine... if you have a separate mic and speakers on your computer, that'll work just as well. I don't use it for anything fancy, so I don't know how it ranks regarding special features, but for my purposes it's perfect!

"value for money", We bought this from amazon a year ago and are pleased with it's quality and also the price...gives clear pictures but make sure ther's enough light...would surely recommend this product

"Creative Labs WebCam Live!-- Is not Good", The WebCam is not good at all. The picture quality is very bad. It is stuck every time..

"Amazing Amazon's Creative Webcam Live!", I liked the webcam a lot. It has a good picture quality. I also liked the handy headphones with the microphone, it was a pleasant surprise.
