"The Truth about Rumble Roses..."
Well lets see here... I waited long enough to write a review about Rumble Roses so... I guess here goes. Let me first say that I picked this game up for the same reason I'm sure every guy picked this game up... and we all know what that was.

I know that the XBox 360 version of this game, Rumble Roses XX, is better than the PSX2 version... simply a more up-to-date game and system. However if you wanna talk about sound and graphics for a game on PSX2, than this game is for you. I liked the all original music made for this game and felt it fit in very well.

Of course this game is nothing more than mindless T'n A and thats it period... no one truly baught it for the moves... the grappling system... or whatever. Not to trash it, alot of the moves play out and look like they just came out of a SvR game. Fetishes galore is correct as this game is all about hot'n sexy females wrestling in a very oriental manner.

I'd say if your into this kind of thing, get it, if not, pass it up. Let me also remind you that any real self respecting female is going to find this game offensive... my girlfriend was not to fond of the game when I played, thus I play it when she is not around or when Im with friends... all about respect... and the fact that I don't want to sleep on the couch.

I gave it a 4 for fun because it really is a perverted-bash! The 3 is because I felt they could have placed more features and what-not in the game. As I understand they did with the XBox 360 version, anyways if you have an XBox, I'd recommend getting it for that.

" R you ready to rumble?"
It's just something about this game that makes me horn. I don't know why, maybe the erotic g-strings and all? My girlfriend is ready to dump me because i've been playin and wa..ng too too much. Recommend this game for men wanting a b.ner lol, sorry ladies.

"Unexpected Delight!"
I can say that this game is more than one pair of eyes can stand. That's a good thing. I was told that the graphics were wonderful and the action thrilling. Well, thrilling is going a little overboard, but if you are someone who likes to watch beautiful women beat their brains out with minimal training in the moves, then you're in for a treat.
Unfortunately, the story's dialogue is somewhat corny. Of course, it does follow along with the "Much Ado About Nothing," attitude in the pro ranks. The player should find a tremendous amount of eye candy in this game. Don't worry, cavities will not destroy your vision, although a little visine may help for those who are visually over-taxed. All in all, once you understand how to navigate and unlock the characters (especially the concept of face, good character, and heel, bad character) you should enjoy the game. Critics will bash the game, but my friends who've played it are immediately impressed with these divas of destruction. I hope that this has helped all who have read this.

"Very hot. Very fun. Very worth it."
I purchased this game about 7 months after it was released and I'm so satisfied. At first glance this game looks like it's just for the looks. But once you start to play you'll realize the looks of all the beautiful girls are just an added bonus. To me, it's more fun to play than the WWE Smackdown series at times. It's different. Gives new variety. I've always been a fan of the Divas and this game is very cool to me. The season mode is hilarious, with corny dialogue. The only drawback is it doesn't have that much replay value.

But overall it's a great game. And I so can not wait for the new Rumble Roses (Rumble Roses XX for the Xbox 360) to come out.

"Fun wrestling with HOT computer babes!"
I've tried the WWE wrestling games and I didn't like them. I don't really like button masher/combo memorizing games like Tekken, Virtua Fighter & Soul Callibur. I would actually compare to this game to the Def Jam series as far as fighting styles and animations. Some of the girls actually pull off realistic looking armbars, kneebars and other submission moves (And I'm actually making this comparison to REAL MMA - If you don't know what that is then it's not worth knowing). Point is that for anyone who knows anything about real fighting and submissions, this game is actually better than most other fighters out there. Yeah, it's not a very deep game, but who cares? How could you ever get tired of really hot girls pulling off cool wrestling/fighting moves. But I guess if you're offended by CGI images of hot girls then maybe this game is not for you. (And that's YOUR loss)

What our customer's say!

"Let's be honest", Yes, the chicks look real good in this game. But the game is not all about sex appeal. The wrestling aspect is also very good. I liked the variety of moves, just when you think you have seen it all you accidentally hit a nice combo and your girl bends and buckles the other poor little girl into a pretzel.

I admit, at first my intention was to see nice looking CGI chicks do mud wrestle, well, it still is. What can I say, I prefer playing with fine looking females rather than ugly, hairy men considering the moves are almost identical in wrestling games.

My main complaint is the game shows its age. Since they released Rumble Roses XX for Xbox 360 there is no hope that they will release it for PS3, dang!

"great game", Rumble Roses is a great game for wrestler fans around. Better yet, the game features all women wrestling.

"What is so great about this game", I played this game before and this is like a joke. I don't no what was so great about this game but their's only three stage's some decent character's and i gotten to a point that their's nothing really good about this game. When i was playing storymode it was okay but the gameplay is to easy, their's only like 2speacial attack's and the rest is like any other wresling game. This game was not good just a girl's only fighting game.

"A Guilty Pleasure", I don't play wrestling games much, but I played this because of the concept and the price. (I got it new for $5.00.) Female wrestlers who are half naked? It almost can't go wrong.

The game itself is nice to look at, and the controls are easy to master. The instruction booklet could have used more work, though, and the game is a little too easy at times. The mud matches are nothing to get excited about, either, and the music was bad. The characters' backstories? Not worth the napkin they were written on. It was fun, however, tossing people around and doing humilation moves. Putting an opponent in a compromising position is always fun, with the added bonus that both are ladies.

If you can get this game at a deep discount and are mildly interested, it is worth it. I would never pay full price, though.

"A Disappointment", I bought this game when it was first released, and I really felt like I was wasting my money.

First of all, the voice acting is so horribly corny that I couldn't play through the game without cringing. The game tries very hard to be sexy, with the girls in skimpy outfits and the "humiliation" moves, but it's just so hackneyed that it's not. The animation during cutscenes is decent, but during play, it's a little substandard. The matches weren't very challenging, so the gameplay became boring quite quickly.

This game might be fun to play once in a while, but it definitely wasn't worth buying new.

"Good ideas equal good game", Rumble Roses is wrestling with an all women cast. It's a first to try something like this (that I'm aware of.) Since this is Konami's first wrestling game, you can expect some pro and unfortunatly some cons as well.

The main reason to play is for story mode. In story mode, you guide your wrestler thru seven different wrestlers to uncover her reason for being in the tournament. Every single girl has her own reason and ending. While some stories are good, others are just interesting or weird in my opinion. As you finish story mode you will also unlock other wrestlers. So, there is a little more replay value trying to unlock everyone. While story mode is the main mode to play, there is other modes as well. There is multiplayer mode and even a Rumble Roses belt to fight for. And to be new and daring, there is even a "Mad Mud" match. You and your opponent duke it out in the mud.

The gameplay is played out just like anyother wrestling game. In fact the same company who makes the Smackdown games, also helped make this game as well. So you can pretty much get the feel of the game if you played Smackdown before. The controls are very, very easy to learn. The only thing missing would have been a tutorial helping out new people to the game. While each girl has her own special moves, alot of the moves are reused repeatdly.

As you can imagine, each girl has her own theme as well. Since Konami, makers of Dance Dance Revolution, is the creator of the game, you can tell how the themes turn out. The music in this game rocks. I only wished I lived in Japan where a soundtrack was legally realeased. Not only does each girl have her own theme but as well a voice. The voice overs are nicely performed but the things they were told to read could have been better.

The graphics in the game was realistic-looking and sharp. If you didn't know any better, you would have thought you were watching a real women's match on television. Sometimes things like shirts, hair, or other body parts will go right through the character but other than that, WOW.

All in all, I will applaud Konami in their efforts to bring us a women's wrestling game. What I loved about this game is that it teased us with it's risque outfits and lingo and didn't go out to bring nudity. Also, it wasn't like other games to go all out with the tna factor like Smackdown with it's bra and panty matches or like Dead or Alive with it's naked women. The only things I didn't like is that you cannot be the main character and alter ego at the same time unless with a cheat device. There also could have been a endless season mode but that would be kind of pointless since there is few characters; so I kind see why that probably wasn't there. Maybe in the future we can see a sequal with a create a wrestler mode and more wrestlers. I don't think people know about this game but a few. While this is certainly not a children's game, it's a game that can be enjoyed by anyone loving women in wrestling.

"Without the flesh this game would be selling zero copies", I recently played Rumble Roses with much anticipation. It didn't take longer than a couple of minutes before I realized this game for the stinker it is. Without the jiggling body parts and the vulgar camera angles, this game would be absolutely worthless. As it is, it's sexuallity is 90% of its selling point. The gameplay itself is dull beyond words and the controls are exceedingly clunky and lame. I suspect that this game will keep selling mostly to teenage males and grown men who still can only dream of the opposite gender, but beyond that it's bound to fall short of expectations. Shame on you Konami. What ever happened to quality control? If you don't believe how bad this game is then go ahead and buy it. Maybe it will entertain you for a day or two until -- bored off your rocker with the gameplay -- you get sick of oogling at the flesh of computer animated girls and realize you could get a heck of a lot more out of an adult movie featuring the real thing.

"FUN is the word", This game is a blast!

Graphics: The graphics of the girl wrestlers are the best I've seen of computer woman anywhere. They claim they used 10,000 polygons per character, and it shows; whole body frame moves from breathing, breasts sway, hair flows, you can even see the fat on their bodies. Its hard to believe this is done on a PS2. One disappointment is the mud pit (which is more like muddy water) but they got the most important thing right, the girls. I just wish that they had included a bigger variety of body types; a few women who were a little older or maybe a little heavier would have been interesting.

Wrestling: The game works well and is a lot of fun. Some people have complained about the low number of moves, but actually each girl has dozens of moves, because the most of the holds and throws have a different effect when you are moving, or just after an evasion move, etc. The only problem is that the reversals are damn near impossible to pull off, and since you can't rotate the camera in a match, sometimes its hard to see the game properly. The game tracks your energy to pull off special moves, your body damage, and your "humiliation" rating. It can seem complicated, but you can ignore all that if you want to. Just wrestle the best you can, and the rest takes care of itself.

Arenas: There are only 4 different arenas to choose from (including the mud pit). A few more venues would have been nice. Except for the mud itself, the arenas look great.

Story: As others have said, the story mode is badly acted and quite ridiculous, but the dialogue is funny so I didn't care. You have to take it with a sense of humor. Each wrestler's story is a little short, but since there are 20 or so wrestlers to go through, there is a huge amount of gameplay here.
Also, the game uses a very nice feature, where, by using certain moves in a "vow" system, you can change the face/heel rating of your wrestler, in effect, turning toward good or evil. This changes the personality, costume, wrestling moves, and story for each character. My favorite is the schoolteacher who can be unlocked as a dominatrix.

Extras: Since the women are so gorgeous, there is a gallery mode where you can rotate the camera and zoom in and zoom out while the women stretch out and answer interview questions. Its something that didn't have to be added, and its actually pretty cool.

Entrance: This is something I haven't seen anyone else comment on yet. Each wrestler has a different entrance number before her match. Most of these are incredible, and worth watching all by themselves. The best is Becky the cheerleader (the good version of Candy). You can turn these off if you get tired of them.

Bottom line: This game is not simply a gimmick. Beyond the gorgeous women, there is a real wrestling game here loaded with extras. There is a lot of depth to this game that's not readily apparent if you only get it as a rental.

"My last wrestling game was WWF Royal Rumble (Arcade port)", I usually do not buy wrestling games. The only other one I own is the above mentioned arcade port for Dreamcast. I decided to purchase Rumble Roses because it offers a new view of wrestling.

I am very happy that I bought it. This game is Solid Gold ! It has jaw-dropping fantastic graphics. And the gameplay can be very challenging, depending on which difficulty you set it on.

I enjoyed this game a whole lot more than Tekken 4. I got both games when I purchase the slim PS2.

I am very amazed by how far graphics have come in gaming. As another reviewer mentioned, many of us still remember characters such as Star-Man from the 8-bit Nintendo system. How things have changed in such a short period of time!!!!!!!!!!!

"Alot of fun, but....", This game is fun! Sure the voice acting is bad, but the girls look cool! The only thing I really wish for is a "create a character" mode! I love playing wrestling games, but the female wrestlers didn't always come out looking too good. The girls look sweet in this game, but I want to make one of my own. *pouts*
