"Oregon Trail CD-Rom review"
The kids and I had fun playing the game. It's educational and fun at the same time. It makes you try to think and plan ahead. There are some tough choices to be made in order to survive.

"Fun fun fun"
I was very happy with this game- it took the bets parts of the previous Oregon Trail incarnations and wove them together for a good overall product. I can appreciate a company which recognizes both the weaknesses and the strengths of their products and uses this information to get better. In this Oregon Trail you can once again chose how many you will travel with and name them (for some crazy reason this feature was eliminated in the 4th Oregon Trail edition), but you can also CHOOSE the times you stop to collect wild fruit or fish, instead of these circumstances just happening randomly (which does not make as much sense). To me, these were the biggest changes to previous games, but they were improvements.

Aside from the above changes, the basics of the game remain the same, and it will look familiar to those who have played other editions. A few things have been updated, particularly some aspects concerning Native Americans and some geography, but the good times still keep rolling.

"Oregon Trail", I was unable to get this game to work on my Mac Pro on either the mac side (error because I didn't have a New York 18 font) or the windows side-game would load, but would not open. (my intel mac runs both mac and Windows). So if anyone has answers to these problems buy the game. Otherwise, don't.

"Oregon Trail PC Game", Excellent game. The whole family loves it. Not only fun, but very educational as well. Every time you start, it's an entirely different experience. I would recommend it to everyone!

"I'm a sucker", When this item came in the mail I became suspecious. It wasn't in the original box it only came in a white envelope.
I down loaded it on my computer but couldn't access it. I went into the properties of it and found it had a previous owner named Chuck. So due to the copyright element I can't use it.
These people that I ordered from should be ashamed of themselves. They should be banned from selling through Amazon.com.
So I've got a game I can't use. Thank you very much!!! I rate them as low life.

"Great learning tool!", My kids ages 7 and 9 have learned more by playing this game than they would have in a book! They LOVE it! Warning: It is addictive for the whole family! I highly recommend this!!

"Educational and Fun", Oregon Trail 5 is a refreshing change from the violent computer games. It's a lot of fun, and challenging too.
