"Works just fine; price was right", The keyboard has no problems whatsoever, the mouse has the slightest bit of lag when you move it after not having moved it for awhile; I'm sure that's it's power-saving functionality though. I am pleased with the product and the seller.

"Hard-to-see letters and weak wireless reception", The letters printed on the keys are tiny and hard to see, especially in low light. Older buyers beware of this!
Also,the wireless receiver is weak. With keyboard and mouse two feet to one side of the computer tower, and with the little wireless receiver plugged into a front USB port on the tower, mouse movement was often not picked up by the receiver. Very frustrating. Plugging the receiver into a USB port on the rear of the tower gave even worse results. Now using a Logitech VX220 wireless mouse which works much better, and got a wired keyboard which is backlit and has large letters (Saitek Eclipse lighted keyboard). Outstanding!

"My favorite keyboard", This keyboard is out of production, so I needed to buy it from a secondary supplier, but I prefer this keyboard over what is presently in production. It has a good feel and I simply prefer it.

"Logitech wireless desktop trumps Microsoft version", After owning a Microsoft wireless desktop for one year, the Enter key mysteriously broke. Mind you, I've had other keyboards in personal and professional environments for many years so I'm confident I wasn't treating it like Samsonite luggage. Thankfully, from the first day, the Logitech version has better connectivity and touch-sensitivity than my previous Microsoft version.

"Updated review!", I've owned this keyboard over a year now and thing is still going like brand new. This keyboard has taking falls, spill after spill, and a hit or two and still works like brand new. It is very easy to take apart and put back together if something is spilled on it or for routine cleaning. Nothing has gone wrong with it at all and I am very happy with this product. I bought a second one for a backup when I bought my first one and I've never had touched it. I would highly recommend this keyboard.

"Just OK...", This is a decent product, but does have a few problems. There does seem to be interference that prevents the mouse from functioning fully and the range does seem limited. The mouse and keyboard do not work well enough for extreme gaming--there's too much delay and "skipping." The most recent problem that prompted me to write this review is several keys now stick and do not pop back up. The space bar is one of them. That is extremely frustrating. It either doesn't work because it's stuck half way down or it's stuck down repeatedly creating spaces. I didn't spill anything on it--I don't eat/drink around my computer. It just seems that it wasn't made to last for the long term.

"To each his own!!", Initially, I thought this was a fabulous product, but after a couple of months the mouse started 'acting up'. Changing the batteries only helped for a short while so I went back to using my corded mouse and keyboard. I was very disappointed!

"Outdated but functional, with caveats", This keyboard/mouse combo came on the market several years ago and no longer appears on the Logitech homepage. The keyboard has a variety of convenient functions such as media controls and one-button access to some programs, etc., but has some drawbacks. One is that you don't know whether you are in the Standard or Enhanced mode for Function keys unless you hit the Mode key, which brings up a message on the screen. You may have to change a setting for this feature. No technical information comes with the product, other than basic set-up information. Some trial and error effort is involved to get the Standard and Enhanced functions straight, or to modify the four programmable keys. The Forum on Logitech's web page is useful, but can be time consuming. Another potential drawback is that you have to hit the keys fairly firmly or the desired result (letter or space) isn't achieved. I added a strip of velcro to the space bar after finding that the pressure I am used to applying was sometimes inadequate. Works fine. The mouse is very basic compared to others on the market, but adequate. For the price, the LX300 is ok, but not great.

"So good..I bought a second one", I purchased one of these for our office manager. it worked so good, I bought one for my home use. I have used now for 3 months with absolutely no problem.

"Excellent Purchase", This set responds rapidly and has a long battery life. I had the Logitech Bluetooth Lazer set and tossed it. I purchased this set instead of the Bluetooth and Love it. My husband ended up tossing his Bluetooth for one like this also.
