"Age of Mythology Golden edition", I bought this game for my grandson, for his 11th birthday. He loves playing the game. It was his favorite present.

"RTS fun", I liked this game a lot because of the god powers you can have and all the mythological creatures from ancient civilizations.

"Awsome game but Buyers beware!!!", I bought this game through a third party on Amazon and the game came just as expected with great service. I was able to play the single player just fine and its a great game.

Now comes the part where it gets a little fishy. I was not able to get online and play the multiplayer for this game. I did some researcha nd come to find out Ubisoft and Valuesoft bought the selling rights to the game from Microsoft. There was a mistake somewhere down the line and all the cames have been shipped with the same CD key!!! I actually bought another copy thinking I had been scammed but it wasnt the case. The second copy I bought from BestBuy had the same CD keys.

Buyers will need to contact Ubisoft and Valuesoft to get valid copies of the CD keys. Ubisoft will make you send pictures, scans of the reciept and product code and open a ticket on their support site. They emailed the new CD keys back in two business days. Valuesoft on the other had makes it more difficult. You have to physically mail in the info (no copies) to their company and then wait for new CD keys in the mail. takes two weeks.

Overall this is an awsome game and the only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because the manufacturer needs to pull their head out of you know where.

"great game for the price", Great game for the price I found on here. Brand New. I have already gone on to beat the campaigns but the game is still fun on single player and whatnot....i think im gonna go play right meow....

"There are many more fun games available", I bought this game because of my past experience with Age of Empires series. I must confess that i am a novice as for as games are concerned. I have played only three games (all on PC) Age of Empires, Age of Mythology & drum rolls please GTA San Andreas. Age of Mythology is certainly an improvement over AOE, however it is no comparison to Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. I bought both of the games simultaneously. And there is no comparison between the two games. GTA San Andreas is many times more versatile, fun, engaging, interesting, challenging then AoM. You can make an argument that these two games belongs to different categories, but if i want to play games for fun and challenge. Then i would choose GTA any day.

"great game and wicked fun i love it", a great game from the same people who made age of empires Age of mythology has sold over 15 million copies and was game of the year the year it came out wicked fun game u dont have 2 be a expert 2 play it u can get tons of wicked cool mythunits like fire giants frost ginats lions hydras and lots and lots more and human soilders and heros like hercules the greeks have the best heros id say that the norse have the best mythunits and the egypts have the best bulidings and buliders and the Atlanteans also have good mythunits and has the best villagers and u can get wicked powerful titans like kronus to came and help u fight u could take out every enemy with just a titan but u can only play as the Atlanteans in the second game but both the frist age of mythology and age of mythology the titans expasion pack are wicked fun u can play online vs people from all over the world great 4 people ages 12 and up

"great game", excellent game.have always been an age of empires fan but was slightly dissapointed with some of the graphics.A game you would want to play for hours on end,very addicting.

"Age of Mythology Addictive Edition", Per her request, I bought this game for my wife as an anniversary present. She hasn't left her PC in weeks.

"Armies clash in several battles. This time, they will use monsters to crush their enemies. And the gods will also help you!", The creators of Age of Empires brought us Age of Mythology! Then after that, they made the expansion pack. Years later, Age of Mythology and the X-pack was put in one box and was called "Age of Mythology: Gold Edition". And a while later, I got the game. Now, you should get the Gold Edition, it is worth the $30. But on with the review!

You start as 4 Civilizations (3 is added in the X-pack). 3 Major gods are in each civilization. Each god has different powers and abilities. And to advance in many ages, you must pick a minor god to advance to the next age.

Those are the major gods that you can pick. And that isn't just that; you can get a ton of myth units: minotaurs, scyllas, scorpion-men, Anbites, and more. And did I not tell you that minotaurs and cyclops can throw men?

Several god powers are in your hands! From lighting, earthquakes, to tornadoes and meteors. They can be used once (Atlanteans can use some powers twice or more.) Tornadoes are my favorite because when they enter a city, the devastation is heart-breaking for the enemy and their allies.

100 scenarios, online play in Ensemble Studios Online, and a map editor cannot bore anybody who is willing to play hard. Although I won a victory online after I bought the game because I was used to playing that hard. I like playing Ra because the pharoh and his priests can empower buildings and if you are attacking, the chariot rush is pretty good, and if you like defending, you should make elephants because a small number of elephants can hold out a large number of humans. Teamwork is very important to win a game, and did I not tell you that when you have an island, to put towers and forts on every part on the island. I lost my titan gate because I didn't save it. And what are titan gates? Titan gates and special and take a long time to build, and when it finishes, a powerful titan will be freed and they can turn the tide of battle! A single titan has 7000 hitpoints! But you can only create one! And really defend it because you could lose it to enemies. Always build heavy defence when building a gate, and when playing online, expect attacks.

If you are a RTS man who needs some chocolat for their ice cream, then AoM: Gold Edition is the chocolat of ice cream.

"Great First RTS Game!", This game is great! The graphics are relistic while holding a mythic feel. The enviroments are beatiful, and it is a shame to chop down trees, kill animals, and build up the area. Battles are fairly easy and the AI doesn't fight often... perfect to new RTS gamers. The campain is well done. The cheats are too powerful for anything but the campain, however. For example, WRATH OF THE GODS gives you powerful god power. God powers are powers you can use once (with a few exeptions)which perform a number of results. The four culters are Greek, Egyptian, Norse, and Atlantis (which is only in the Titans Exspansion Pack)Overall, this is a great game.
