"Works with Dell Inspiron 600m"
I have a Dell Inspiron 600m Laptop and my TV does not have S-Video. After a failed attempt with another S-Video to RCA converter, I tried this one. It works perfectly well! Shipping is a bit expensive but really worth the cost!

The inexpensive jack was a perfect solution to getting the RCA output of my VCR to work with my other S-Video based video components.

The DVD and Satellite receiver are S-Video but the VCR was RCA. Even though I have a video switching Onkyo receiver, I still had to swith the video input selection on the TV when I changed between S-Video (Sat Rcv/DVD player) and RCA sources (VCR). Too much switching for the young kids.

Put this little baby on the RCA output of the VCR plugged it into the Onkyo and bingo. No more need to change the TV video input - it's all S-Video now.

I have a svideo-rca cable but my Dell 700M doesn't reconize the TV input. So I tried this one and it works great! I will give it 5 stars if they can charge a more reasonable shipping. $11 bucks for a simple adaptor is too expensive in my opinion.

My receiver outputs RCA sources as RCA and S-VHS sources as S-VHS. (no cross converting) So I was constantly switching the TV source back and forth between S-VHS and RCA depending on whether I was watching cable or watching a movie. This little adapter simplified it so that all my components are S-VHS now. So the TV stays on S-VHS.
